My Personal Christmas Story – A Wounded Warrior Goes Home

By Ray Gano

What I am about to share with you is true. It is a few minutes that affected my life forever and an event that I will never forget.

Back in 2005 I used to work for DHS/TSA.  I was on the jump teams dispatched to federalize the Airports in the US. Once I came home I was a supervisor at the San Antonio Airport.

It was around December 15th 2005 and I was the supervisor on duty at Terminal B. There was not much going on and it was kind of on the slow side.

Then I saw him, a young soldier going through the screening process. He was in his battle dress uniform, pressed and starched, standing there as the TSA officer waved the metal detector over and around him.

You could see a humble but proud soldier, he was going home for the holidays.

Apparently, the soldier sustained major burns. He was missing both of his ears, his face was scarred, and his arms and hands were in elastic bandages.

To be honest, he was someone hard to look at, but your eyes kept going back to him standing there…. A proud soldier.

Once finished, I saw the security officer help him with putting his backpack on. Then the soldier and an older woman that accompanied him walked out of the screening area.

You see, I have seen this soldier before, and that time he was wearing jeans, a shirt, and a black cowboy hat.

As he was leaving the screening area, I asked him where his cowboy hat was. He smiled back, recognizing me and I stated, “So they are making you fly home in your uniform heh?”

I did not expect to hear what he was about to say.

See, he smiled back and answered, “Nope, this time it is for sentimental reasons, I am wearing it for the last time. I wanted to wear it going home.”

This young soldier moved me very deeply.

He paid the price.

While waiting for his flight to leave, I noticed that he was having some lunch, smiling and talking to the older woman accompanying him.

I went over and introduced myself and he told me his name was John. I found out that the woman was his proud mother taking her son back home for the holidays.

I asked if I could sit and talk with him a bit. They both agreed and I took a seat.

I told John that his statement about wearing his uniform for the last time moved me.

I also told him that I wanted to personally come over and thank him for his service and for the price he paid.

“Ray”, he said, “I have been blown up twice and I was set on fire. With all that I have been through, you want to know what?”

“What?” I said.

“I would do it all over again, every single minute of it.”

Wow. I did not know what to say.

A lump rose up in my throat and tears were welling up in my eyes. Here was one of America’s sons and I was honored to be sitting there with him.

I asked him, “Does it bother you to be in this situation?”

John said, “Nope,” as he smiled.

“Ray, do you have kids?” he asked.

“Yes I do, I have 4, two on their own now and two still at home.”

He asked me the ages of the ones still at home and I told him eleven and twelve years old, a boy and a girl. We talked about where I lived and a bit more about my family.

He said, “Sounds like you have a good family and that you are a good father. I want you to know something. I have been over there just for them, so they would not have to go.”

The lump grew larger and my eyes welled up, then a tear escaped and dripped down the side of my face.

I was in awe.

You see the tears were not tears of sadness; they were tears of pride and honor.

I looked upon the scars and wounds that he sustained; he smiled and continued talking to me. The feelings that I felt were hard to explain. I was proud, joyous, humbled and honored to be sitting with this hero.

We talked a bit more and then I got up and wished him and his mother a Merry Christmas and a safe trip. I thanked him once again for the service and sacrifice that he made.

He kind of brushed it off with a smile and a sparkle in his eye and said, “I’d do it all over again, no need to thank me.”

As I walked away, my mind went to our Lord. I asked Him to bless John and his family and traveling mercies for a safe trip. He was going home to a hero’s welcome with friends, family and the town waiting for him at the airport.

It was a Christmas season that I will never forget. I was glad that I had that chance to meet, sit and talk with John.

I went back to my desk and started contemplating about the moment. It was at that time a still small voice spoke to me, explaining the way I was feeling.

This experience, the feelings I felt, was just a glimpse of how I would feel when I personally meet our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

This soldier named John, paid the price, but it was Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who paid the ultimate price.

I thought about the honor and pride I felt, sitting and talking with John, how much more in awe will I be when I finally get to meet Jesus?

Once again, I was in awe over what our Lord gave to us. And you know what? He would do it all over again, just because He loves us so much. The lump and the tears returned while meditating on what Christ did for us and His joy to do it all again, if given the chance, much like John.

I wanted to share this personal Christmas Story with you. I hope that you remember our troops who are paying the price and those who paid the ultimate price. Say a prayer and think of them during this Holiday Season. They and their families have given up so much.

John 3:16 – 17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Think of the scars and the wounds that our Lord sustained, and give thanks to our Lord in Heaven.

He paid the ultimate price so that through Him the world might be saved.

If you see one of our young men or women in uniform while you are traveling this holidays, go over and thank them.

They have paid and continue to pay the price.

To John, that young hero and to all of you reading this wherever you are, I pray that God blesses you and keeps you, that His favor continues to shine brightly upon you in this coming New Year – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Me, Tracye and Prophezine  – Amen.

We Are Making an Impact – David Reagan’s Endorsement For Ray Gano

Many of you know Dr David Reagan of Lamb & Lion and the host of “Christ In Prophecy”.

David Reagan is a friend to Prophezine and here is what he said …

Ray Gano is no “pillow prophet” who desires to tickle people’s ears with false words of encouragement. He is a watchman on the wall who spits words like bullets, calling for repentance and warning of impending judgment. You may not agree with all his conclusions, but you will be forced to think deeply about what he has to say, and since what he says is always grounded in Scripture, you will be impelled to search God’s Word — and that is good. — Dr. David Reagan – Lamb & Lion Ministies

It is encouraging to have people endorse us like this. It tells us that we are on the right track.

Tracye and I have taken some huge steps in faith. I believe that God has called us to minister to the remnant of people who still stand with God as well as stand on His Son, Christ Jesus and His Word.

Run The Numbers Yourself – 2018 – The Generation’s End

By Ray Gano

Matthew 24:34 “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. “

Many folks point to this verse when speaking of the last day / end times.  Some say that the countdown clock started in May 1948, others say it was June 1967, when Israel finally took back the city of Jerusalem and won control of the Temple Mount.

Both points are promoted, but I stand upon the birth of the nation that took place in 1948.

How Long is a Biblical Generation?

Scripture says…

Psalms  90:10 (KJV) “ The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

In other words, the number of years people live on the average is 70, possibly 80 if they are strong and of good constitution.

To back this up, Matthew in his reciting of Christ’s generations follow the Psalms 90:10 definition of a generation, 70 years.

Matthew  1:17 (KJV) “ So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.”

Matthew is using the Psalm 90 definitions of generation in order to tell a specific chronological time story of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, if Matthew is using it pertaining to and qualifying our Lord, we should use it also.

With all that said, and just doing simple math, 1948 70 years comes to 2018.

So What is Going To Happen?

To be honest, I do not know.

When we look at scripture Christ says that “these things be fulfilled.”

What are “these things?”

Well, looking at Matthew 24 let’s take things item by item.

Vs 4 – Take heed that no man deceives you

Vs 5 – Many false Christs shall come and deceive many

Vs 6 – Wars and rumors of wars, but this is not the end yet

Vs 7 – Nations shall rise up against each other. Famines, pestilence, and earthquakes in divers’ places

Vs 8 – All these are the beginnings of sorrows

Vs 9 – Christian persecution grows, we are hated by all nations for the sake of Christ

Vs 10 – People will be highly offended, people will betray one another and hate each other.

Vs 11 – Many false prophets will rise and deceive many.

Vs 12 Because people are immoral and their grossly unfair behavior, man’s love will wax cold

Vs 13 – But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Vs 14 – And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Vs 15 – 17 Christ continues to give warning to the apostilles primarily about 70AD. Later Antiochus Epiphanes defiles the temple by sacrificing a pig and proclaiming himself “god” in the temple. This was the time of the Maccabees where Israel was just trounced on and came very close to being wiped out.

Vs 21 – It seems that Christ then jumps to the future, our future and tells us great tribulation such as not been seen since the beginning of the world.

Vs 22 – And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Vs 23 -25 – Christ warns about more false Christs, false prophets and many showing great signs and wonders, so much so that these people will deceive the very elect, us… Christians. Don’t believe the false Christs no matter what.

Vs 29 – After the tribulation the sun will be darkened, the moon shall be dark and stars fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

Vs 30 – And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Vs 31 – And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Vs 32 – Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Vs 33 – So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

So many people like to take this portion of scripture, break it up, bend it, swap it, but when you just read it as is in context, it is pretty amazing what you see here.  As much as I hate to say it, it is not what the popular teachers have been teaching.

For a while now people have been saying “it’s just a matter of time.”

It is 2018. We are now out of time, that is if God wanted to pull plug on it all.

He might give us another 10 years for good measure, that would then bring us up to 2028.

Thing is that I see all these great pontificators of bible prophecy throwing out all these futuristic things that are supposed to take place.

Well, we are now out of time. That is what the bible clearly states.

Folks, if we are the final generation and 2018 is it, then that means we have seriously run out of time.

What is the flip side of that?

We are NOT the final generation and all those bible prophecy that have come to pass, well, all those were just chance, a winning roll of the dice.

It is like we have become accustomed to having our cake and eating it too.

Either these things that are being taught are going to take place here soon,…

because we are the final generation,…

OR they are not and we are not the final generation.

I personally believe that we are the final generation.

If we are the final generation as many in the bible prophecy arena are teaching, we must contend with logic and reasoning and not fairy-tales.

Just because something has been taught for the last 50-100 years, does not make it so.

We are called to look down at scripture and then peer out to the horizon to see how the world fits within scripture, not how scripture fits within the ideas that are being taught in the world.

We as students of bible prophecy need to put away all the books of men and look at what scripture is truly teaching.

We have forgotten to go to God’s Word and apply Acts 17:11 to make sure that what is being taught holds true to scripture. But more than that, it must adhere to logic and reasoning because our God is not a God of confusion nor does He lie.

Welcome to the NEW Prophezine – – The hackers had their way, but you can’t keep a good man down. Let us know what you think and give us your input on what you would like to see. ALSO… Stand in the gap with us and Become a PZ Insider so that we can continue to push forward. Warrior On!

Therefore, if it is not God who is in error, we have to ask “who is?”

The obvious answer is man.

We need to once again learn how to think critically, with an objective mind. We have got to stop allowing people to “spoon feed” us what they believe we need to know and this includes me as well.

It is the Holy Spirit whom teaches us and it is He who will illuminate the truth if we apply God’s logic and reasoning.

We also need to come to the realization that if we are the final generation that scripture talks about, then there are some issues at hand that we need to contend with and not push it off to the god of time.

We need to admit that there are things that we have once believed that do not fit scripture as well as the time-frame given the days we are living in.

We must come to the understanding that If scripture fits, we must submit.

There are going to be those out there who will argue the time-frame of a generation, when did that generation begin, when will it end, etc. Personally, that does not matter, time is still time and it is ticking down. An extra 20 or so years will not really matter if we are the final generation.  Things will still commence according to scripture.

So, we need to decide if we are the final generation or not. If we are that final generation, we have a limited amount of time in this generation for things to come together logically because we serve The Omniscient God of logic and reason. (all knowing all seeing)

We need to start asking the hard questions and demand solid biblical as well as logical answers. Not these fairy-tale ideas that were dreamt up some 50-100 or more years ago when Israel was not a nation.

We need to re-examine what we have been taught with a sound mind, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us and not the latest popular teacher with the bestselling book.

Folks, I hold myself up to the same scrutiny as well. If I am wrong, I am willing to admit that I am wrong if shown from scripture to be incorrect. I have admitted error before and I have no problem recanting something said in error.

How many are out there are willing to admit that they are wrong when presented with sound logic and reasoning in light of all their books, DVDs, CDs, etc?

Odds are that they will stick to the “Don’t confuse me with the facts my mind is made up! Besides, it is clearly stated in my book, CD or study guide, so how can I be wrong?”

If that is the answer you get, then we need to question pride being the culprit.

Scripture says…

Proverbs 16:18 (KJV) “ Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

If we are the final generation, we have a lot of work still needing to be done. Millions upon millions do not have any knowledge of the Lord our God, nor the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We no longer have the luxury of time and must be about the Lord’s work.

What you need to do is ask yourself “Are we the final generation?”

And if we are, what are we going to do about it in light of “seek ye first the kingdom of God?”

The war on truth has reached a fever pitch as Google has made it their mission to annihilate the independent media. The ‘New Media’ lead by the likes of Infowars, Breitbart, Natural News, Ray Gano and many other great independent sites will have an uphill battle when it comes to getting their content in front of readers. Google has announced they will be doubling down on their ‘Orwellian’ practice of making stories disappear from their monopolistic search engine. Outlined in their Gestapo like 160-page handbook, Google describes exactly how they plan to suppress any information they deem unfit for readers. Highlighted at the bottom of page 108 Google states:

● Pages that directly contradict well established scientific or medical consensus for queries seeking scientific or
medical information, unless the query indicates the user is seeking an alternative viewpoint.

● Pages that directly contradict well-established historical facts (e.g., unsubstantiated conspiracy theories), unless
the query clearly indicates the user is seeking an alternative viewpoint.

These two guidelines provided by Google should set off alarm bells to anyone who has a thirst for knowledge or anyone that has the audacity to examine both sides of a topic. Imagine only being able to see and hear the corporate narrative on such important issues like vaccines, 9/11, holistic health, the Kennedy assassination, climate change, banking alternatives, and many other important matters. And that is only scratching the surface.

This information from Google’s handbook was first uncovered by Melissa Dykes at Truth Stream Media who made a great video that eloquently breaks down the importance of this complex issue.  I highly recommend everyone watch it and more importantly support their work.

As bad as this news sounds there is a bright side. We have solutions people; we just have to break the habit of being slaves to the Google regime. First, we can stop using Google altogether and start using some great alternatives out there like Good and The second and most important thing we can do is go old school and start bookmarking sites again (something I have been doing for years). This will cut out the middle man (Google) and enable you to see all the great information from thousands of independent journalists that Google is trying to suppress.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of great sites broken down by category that do an excellent job in their respective field. I urge everyone to bookmark this page and make it their go to when searching for news on politics, health and prepping.

By no means is this list complete, there are thousands of great independent sites out there that I have inadvertently missed. If your favorite site is missing send me an email at and I will happily add it to the list if it’s worthy.

A Global War of Good vs Evil

By Ray Gano

I have been doing a lot of research on Agenda 21 / 2030 and I can truly see a war of good and evil taking place. Just looking at our own nation, I could totally see a civil war is coming in America. Think about it for a moment, you can’t subjugate, censor, marginalize, demonize, belittle, ridicule and intimidate over half the population forever. Eventually they will respond with whatever tools they have and they will strike out.

Looking out over the horizon ot’s not clear what the trigger will be, but I truly believe it will be a war of good and evil, left vs right, Luciferians vs Christian. I could see a skirmish over race, gender or “free speech”, but it will be Christianity that will be the primary catalyst.

Just look at our nation, it is now two different nations at war with one other. It is gotten really nasty out there too. In some parts of the country we are seeing open violence, primarily promoted by the Luciferian left and it cannot endure.

Eventually those of us who are conservative, Christian and maintain religious morals will eventually say enough.

And when that takes place, it will get really ugly really fast.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL… the USA is headed towards a financial cliff.  President Trump is going after the Federal Reserve and this “Bankster assault” game they like to play. The Federal Reserve is born out of the pit of hell and the leaders all align themselves with their god Lucifer. Trump wants to see them shut down and is coming down on them for even considering rate hikes.

Trump again blasts Fed for “even considering” rate hike

WASHINGTON, Dec 17 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump early on Monday again criticized the Federal Reserve for its current series of interest-rate increases, days before the U.S. central bank is expected to push up interest rates again.

“It is incredible that with a very strong dollar and virtually no inflation, the outside world blowing up around us, Paris is burning and China way down, the Fed is even considering yet another interest rate hike. Take the Victory!” Trump wrote in a tweet.

The powers that be are fanning the left’s flames of hate for the right. They are bound and determined to start WWIII, a war of good and evil.

Scripture says…

Matthew 10: 21-22 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Here is another issue. Many of my friends believe that we will be raptured before anything bad happens. Their attitude is “Why should I do anything or even care? The rapture is going to happen and God isn’t going to let bad things happen to me.”

If you don’t believe me, just get on Facebook and read some of the comments posted there.

A lot of bad things have happened over the ages, let’s look just at the last century. Why weren’t the Germans or Russians raptured before or during WWI OR WWII. Remember, over a hundred million died.?

In fact, let’s go back 500 years. Why wasn’t Europe raptured during the Bubonic Plaque when a third and some say up to half of the population died?

Why weren’t the Christians raptured before they were fed to the Lions in Rome?

Like it or not, this is a bad American mentality. The persecuted Christians in the middle east do not think this way.  Look at the persecuted Chinese Christians who are being tortured, jailed and put to death by the thousands. I don’t hear them talking about being raptured out.

Welcome to the NEW Prophezine – – The hackers had their way, but you can’t keep a good man down. Let us know what you think and give us your input on what you would like to see. ALSO… Stand in the gap with us and Become a PZ Insider so that we can continue to push forward. Warrior On!

What I am trying to point out is that the powers that be are creating situations where I believe millions will die and the dividing line will be are you “Christian” or are you “Luciferian.”

Brother against brother, parent against child, neighbor against neighbor, sheep against goats, wheat against chaff.

I keep pointing out that 2018 is the end of the generation. What happens from this point on is all a crap shoot.

The powers that be though want to control the world by 2030. Thing is I just don’t see it happening. America, Brazil, Hungry, Poland, France and England all have massive independence movements taking place.  There are many other countries also that are saying NO MORE to the globalist agenda.

United Nations plot to depopulate 95% of the world by 2030

Agenda 21 was United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development was developed as a means of restructuring the world population to lessen environmental impact and achieve an improved quality of life. That is if you are one of the lucky ones to be left to live. But on the other hand it will be a life of tyranny where the masses are true slaves to those few who are in control.

One of the main ways of they are going to do this is this is through “encouraged and direct depopulation.”

As the UN put it:

“comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations system, government, and major groups, in every area in which humans have impact on the environment.”

Although the language used in the original 70-page report that the UN published on Agenda 21 is vague and open to interpretation, as well as plausible deniability, the intentions in certain sections are clear.

Depopulation to lessen environmental impact and stop overpopulation leading to instability.

First question… instability of what? The ability to rule over all and control all?

Next question, what is one of the best ways to depopulate?

Well, a good old-fashioned war of course.

Just look at what is taking place in France.

Look at the riots and such taking place here in the US.

Look at the riots and such taking place in England.

A war against the right and the left, conservative vs liberal, Christian vs Luciferian is on the brink.

And I think this is going to be  a war that one just can not side step and claim to be neutral. One will have to make the choice.

Which side are you on… Jehovah or Lucifer?

In my next article, I will write on what you can do to prepare for this event. Because if this does break out, it will come to your neighborhood.

ANTIFA Protests To Shut Down Austin Church – THIS IS HAPPENING FOLKS!

By Ray Gano

I know that I sound like a broken record, but I have been warning about these domestic terror groups coming after you, coming after me and coming after our churches.

I get emails from people telling me that “Oh it can’t happen here in the US, we have laws.”

You know what? Our laws are being abused and having communist / Marxist / Socialist hate groups now using them to bring our nation down.

This was NOT what our forefathers imagined when they penned “Freedom of Speech.”

Last weekend militant LGBTQLMNOP protesters along with the local Antifa cell in Austin gathered in front of Celebration Church, a rather large church in Austin and tried to shut down the service.

Not only that, they were demanding that the congregation goers renounce their biblical view of one man + one woman = marriage.

This group was using their terrorist ways to condemn the views of the church’s support for proper biblical marriage between one man and one woman.

Using Twitter, Facebook and other forms of social media, they organized this protest over a church’s right to maintain their beliefs.

Here are just a few quotes…

“Members of ANTIFA were joined by a dozen or so other gay rights activists who chanted, waved pride flags and held signs [last] weekend to protest Celebration Church because of its opposition to gay marriage,” PJ Media reported. “The gay rights activists also protested the church’s Sunday morning services at the Austin school district performing arts center in order to criticize the district for renting the facility to Christian ‘homophobes.’”

“Happening right now outside of homophobic Celebration Church in #Austin,” Incendiary News tweeted last Sunday. “Masked protesters chanting, ‘Defend our youth from these attacks!’ ‘Pride means fight back!’”

“These kids that are gay, lesbian or trans – they end up hating themselves because of the beliefs y’all are spreading!” a masked protester exclaimed, according to Incendiary News.

The Stupid Person is The Tool

Dietrich Bonhoeffer once stated the following…

“Having thus become a mindless tool, the stupid person will also be capable of any evil and at the same time incapable of seeing that it is evil. This is where the danger of diabolical misuse lurks, for it is this that can once and for all destroy human beings.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison DBW Vol 8

It will not be the diabolical leader or some brain behind the scenes person, it will be some lowly “stupid person tool” that will be used against us. We see it all the time in many lone wolf scenarios.

Sooner or later some of these Antifa members will gain access to a church and shoot it up.  I can totally see them dress up in their “Sunday best” bring in some backpacks with weapons and mow a bunch of people down.

These are literally brainwashed mind-numb robots.

A prime example of this is Richard Reid the shoe bomber – he was the British man who attempted to detonate explosives packed into the shoes he was wearing, while on American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. He failed because he could not light the fuse sticking out of his tennis shoes.

Knowing that we are dealing with a stupid person is one point that might give us an advantage.

See, there are sharp cunning wolves and then there are the stupid ones. If you are situationally alert, a lot of times you can pick that person out.

Knowing that these people are just a tool, there are “red flags” that can tip you off to their possible suspicious behavior. But the key is that you MUST be alert to the people in your congregation.

Some of the things to look for in a suspicious person are as follows…

– They are acting in a nervous manner.

– Looking around being un-easy, stressed out.

– Profuse sweating or wiping sweat away generally with the same hand / arm over and over again.

– “Tunnel Vision, or constantly staring forward in a weird or inappropriate manner.

– Inappropriate prayer / repeated prayer, moving the lips mouthing a prayer silently.

– Talking to themselves

– Getting up and walking out and then coming back in frequently

– Inappropriate, oversize, loose-fitting clothes (e.g., a heavy overcoat on a warm day).

– Keeping hands in pockets or cupping hands as if they might be holding a trigger device.

– They seem to be favoring one side or an area of the body. Are they constantly adjusting some sort of clothing or item under the clothing? Are there sharp angles poking out against the clothing that could be a gun barrel? It has been reported that a person will keep checking an area of their body to make sure that the gun or possibly even a suicide vest is still there and attached properly.

– They might carry large packages, stuffed backpacks, purses, large shopping bags that could contain weapons or explosives.

– Last and this is a biggie – they do not know how the service is run. They look out of place. They are trying to follow along, but they just do not know the sequence of events for church the service. They do not know when to sit or when to stand or they are working to hard to try to fit in; like overly clapping or not clapping enough, singing to low or to loud, getting the words to the song wrong, etc.

These are things that you as the sheepdog and the church security team need to understand, keep in mind, and stay alert for.

Finally, pay attention to your gut instinct.

If your gut is telling you that someone is not a good person and there is something wrong, you need to not push that aside. You need to pay attention to that and then alert the rest of the church security team.

The Need To Have Contingency Plans In Place

Now that we know what to look for, we need to now know what to do.

First thing that we need to put in place is some sort of security team. Now I know that a lot of churches do not want to deal with this due to liability issues. But what is worse, a team of people saving lives or a church congregation losing 75% of its congregation because some stupid person came in and blew everyone away with an Uzi?

Like it or not, these are the real-world issues that we have to deal with being a church congregation.

So, if lives are going to be saved, this reality needs to be accepted by the pastor, the staff and put together a realistic security / fast reaction team.

Another point, calling the police can help, but it can also create a situation that will cause the stupid person to escalate.

The ideal situation is to have law enforcement / ex-military as part of the security team. They have the training to deal with situations like this and an off-duty police officer can make arrests and call in for back up much faster than an average call to 911.

Once a team is put together, the need to develop a means of communication is second.

I highly recommend solid communication devices like two-way radios along with ear pieces and throat microphones. This is the kind of set up that we used in the military and also, I used this sort of set up when we were on the jump teams with DHS federalizing airports.

The advantage of a throat microphone is that you can speak softly, almost whisper like and still be heard by the other team members.

Understanding that church budgets are tight, here is an excellent radio that will do the job as well as an excellent throat mic and covert ear piece.

Baofeng UV5RA Ham Two Way Radio  –

1 X Flexible Throat Mic Microphone Covert Acoustic Tube Earpiece Headset With Finger Activated Push To Talk Button –

Together these will run about $40 dollars and to weed out wanna-be security people, make the team purchase these units themselves. This way you know who is dedicated and also if they lose or break the equipment, it is on them.

Next you need to have some form of hand and arm signal so in case you cannot talk or use the radio, you can still communicate with your team.

Using two fingers and pointing to your own eyes means “LOOK “ – “SEE”

Then pointing towards a suspicious person is telling your team to watch that person.

You can signal to assign one of your team to stick with that person by placing your right hand on top of your left hand and then give a subtle shake of the two hands.

Using a piece of clothing as a signal is also a good idea. For example, I head up the team at my church and one of my signals is me putting on my baseball cap. That indicates to my team that I am in alert mode and they need to keep an eye on me. This also can be used to alert the pastor in giving him a subtle signal by him seeing that your cap is on.

You can also signal the pastor in the same way with two fingers pointing to your eyes and then pointing to the suspicious person.

Communicating to the Congregation

Something that also needs to be taking into consideration is letting the congregation in on the security team, at least your “core” congregation.

For example, maybe there is a suspicious person sitting in the congregation and one of the security team needs to get seated behind them. The congregation needs to know that if one of the security team members comes up and gives them the signal to get up and let them have that seat where they are sitting, not to ask questions, not to act surprised not do anything except to get up and let the security person have that seat.

Other situations that need to be addressed is getting out of the building quickly and in an orderly manner. Code words or phrases need to be put in place so that the pastor can give those code words or phrases without raising the suspicion of the suspect.

Maybe calling for an impromptu song and having everyone stand to sing a certain song that the congregation knows as a signal to start slowly walking out back row first followed by the subsequent rows… all the time continuing the song as if it is some special religious ordeal that your church conducts.

These are just ideas, what you, your pastor and security team need to do is put all these contingency plans in place.

Putting Contingency Plans in Place – S.O.P. – Standard Operating Procedure

Plans can be ranging from, covering all exits and securing the building – the means to take out a threat if necessary – quickly evacuating the congregation to a per-arranged safe area outside the church building. There are a number of situations that contingency plans need to be discussed and put in place.

Once you have these plans, they need to be put in written form and create what is called an S.O.P – Standard Operating Procedure. When you have plans, you can then start doing dry runs with the security team. Practice doing the hand and arm signals that your church comes up with. Stand at different parts of the church building and see if you can communicate with each other via radio and signals.

Now, I am not one who likes some sort of uniform but having some sort of “security presence” in place may deter some stupid bad person. In this case, what I find works best is black polo shirt with large yellow type with the word SECURITY across the back, on the left breast and maybe on one of the sleeves. These types of shirts stand out and can be easily seen from a distance.

Again, the very fact that you have some burly guy standing in the parking lot or at the front entrance area may be all the deterrent that you need to cause a bad guy to have second thoughts.

We need to remember that we are dealing with stupid people. Stupid people also tend to be cowards and may decide that your church may be too much of a “hardened” target to get away with his / her dastardly plan.

Security Polo Shirt Black with Gold Letters –

Weaponizing The Security Team

This is the area where things get a little “sticky.” There are different laws stating what weapons can be in churches.

In Texas for example it is allowed to carry in a church unless the church has posted a 30-06 sign prohibiting people from carrying concealed in a church. One can also carry pretty much any weapon they wish in a church, again being discreet. I doubt that you can carry your battle-ready katana (Samurai sword) in the church without pastor’s permission.

With that said, I lean more towards non-lethal in a church congregation setting. This way you do not have to worry about bullet trajectory and pass through.

Weapons I Promote For Security Teams

Police Grade Pepper Foam & Gel – This is the first weapon I would recommend the security team carrying. SABRE Red Pepper Foam is an excellent solution. It is inexpensive enough where you can purchase 2-3 cans so that you place some in areas ready to use like at the sound board, usher’s station, etc.

NOW… why foam? If you are outdoors and there is a slight breeze, you will not have the liquid pepper spray blow back in your direction. Second, the foam is sticky and when it makes contact it instantly melts. This has about an 8 – 10-foot range and can spray multiple targets with this foam.

Another point is that if you are in a close quarter like in church you will not have “mist” floating around that might get in some of the congregations eyes. This is a product that has good control factor.

SABRE Pepper Foam –

Another solution and something that will give you more distance between you and the thugs is SABRE Pepper Gel. Like the foam, the gel sprays and does not blow back if there is a breeze going. Also, because it is a gel, it will shoot further than the foam and has a range of 18 feet. Another plus with this is that SABRE includes a belt holster that you can wear and always be prepared. Like the foam, it has good control factor and will not have liquid mist floating in the air.

SABRE Pepper Gel –

Cold Steel Ti-Lite Zytel 6” – I have written about this knife in some of my other articles. This is probably my #1 go to fighting weapon / knife.

PRO – I like that you can carry this in your hand and it doubles as a kubaton. It is large enough to really do some damage without even deploying the knife. This can be used to control a person sitting in a pew by applying pressure techniques used with the kubaton.

PRO – The quillion, the little hook at the base of the knife blade, also is a very mean weapon in and of itself, The rough thumb grooves on the quillion will do damage if you use this as a kubaton. You can hook a chin, rip an eye, do a number of kubaton moves where the quillion will do some major extra damage.

PRO – You can deploy the knife as it is pulled out of the pocket by “snagging” the quillion on the pocket edge. This is a move that needs to be practiced as well, but you will have a great tactical advantage just taking the knife out of your pocket and it deploying as you remove it.

PRO – With some practice, you can learn to flick open this knife one handed. So, if you are using it in a kubaton style, it is nothing to flick it in the process of a swing or block and deploy the 6” razor sharp blade.

NOTE – this knife is literally a “pocket sword” it is a good 13 inches long and will give you some good distance between you and the attacker. Because this is such a large knife, check your local laws to make sure it is carry-legal.

PRO – Cost – ON SALE – $48.88 w/ free shipping

Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6″

Streetwise POLICE FORCE 9,200,000 Volt TACTICAL Stun Gun Flashlight – This is a great stun gun. It is smaller in diameter, so it is easily concealed and also made to look like a flashlight. It small enough to conceal and keep in the hand without it being obvious that you have a stun gun in your hand. So it is an excellent weapon that you can carry deployed in church and people will not take much notice of it.

Another great point about this stun gun is that it fits a church budget. It runs around $25 – $30 dollars and at this price, a church can purchase several of these so that each member of the security team is armed as well as keeping extras at the sound board, usher’s station, welcome booth, etc.

This also has a good lanyard on it so that if you do lose your grip, it will not fall to the ground and you can easily bring it back into your hand.

PRO – Slim, small and easily concealed

PRO – 9,000,000 volts and rechargeable – that is a lot of volts you will send through a person

Streetwise POLICE FORCE 9,200,000 Volt TACTICAL Stun Gun  –

There are other weapons that you and your team can look into like collapsible batons, fighting sticks, saps, ect. The negative is that with some of these weapons, you need to check your local laws in using them. Weapons like the collapsible baton are against the law to use in many states.

You, your pastor and your team also need to discuss the use of firearms in the church.

If you do have an active threat and the individual is using a firearm, then some of the team members need to have handguns at the ready and be trained in this sort of situation.

In fact, it is critical that security teams get solid weapons training and maintain that training. Conduct training in the church building, around the building and in the church parking lots so that the team is familiar and comfortable with the church grounds environment. Try to come up with viable situations that a bad guy would perform and train for those different situations. Take turns being the bad guy and giving the team different scenarios.

Like it or not, people wishing to do harm to the church is a reality more so today that in the past years. We have enemies that have come out publicly stating that they wish to do us harm and kill us.

We must take these threats seriously and not bury our heads in the sand thinking that “it can’t happen to us.”

Predators take advantage of people where they have opened themselves up to being targets.

The key is to not allow ourselves to be these open targets.

Paul stated that in the last days we will live in perilous times. Well, those times are here and groups of people have stated with extreme bias that they hate Christians and Jews the world over and to see us wiped off the face of the earth would make them very happy.

The hope is that we will never have to rely on our security teams to act. But we need to take precautions, prepare, have plans and security teams in place and be ready.

To do nothing, especially in this anti-Christian environment that we are living in is foolish and a church is just asking to become a target rich environment for the stupid person hell bent on destruction.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am more than willing to help any way I can, including coming to your church, assessing the situation and helping you with a team and help train them. Just contact me –

The past few months I have been ratcheting up Servant Warrior and doing Servant Warrior Radio. This is a podcast that I have been posting in the our PZ Premium Content area.

Well, someone came to me and told me they own Servant Warrior since 2012. So, instead of having some sort of stump the chump contest, Tracye and I have decided to change the name to Last Days Warrior.

Join Our Last Days Warrior Group

I have a Last Days Warrior Facebook group that I am revamping and bringing it back up to speed. We have added over 200 new members in the past 3 weeks.

This would be a great place to start in taking a stand and where I will post my ideas and things that Tracye and I have been doing to push forward and live a better Servant Warrior lifestyle.

If what I am saying resonates with you, then you are quiet possibly hearing the Last Days Warrior call.

If you do, then let me encourage you to check out our Last Days Warrior Facebook group.

Your Store Bought First Aid Kit AINT ENOUGH!! – Build One Suited For YOU & YOUR Needs

By Ray Gano

In my last article I was talking about how ANTIFA is calling for out and out violence. I also talked about how to build your own “Get Home Bag.”

FOLKS… these people are not kidding. Don’t believe me, get on You Tube and look at these terrorists messing with people, ganging up on people and beating them to a pulp.

This is happening, and it is real.

It was these thoughts that caused me to think back on an situation that took place with me, myself and I.

Background – Why Build Your Own

The one thing that I have noticed in all the store bought first aid kits is that they really don’t address the serious injuries that people get when they really need a first aid kit.

Most home injuries resorts either you or your spouse running to the medicine cabinet, grabbing the hydrogen peroxide, maybe some rubbing alcohol, gauze, duct tape and Band-Aids.

If it isn’t for some wound then usually it is gabbing the Ipecac  because little Johnny ate some dog poop (Ipecac induces vomiting) or Emetrol syrup which helps stop vomiting.

For example, here is a true story that happened to me couple years ago and why it is important to have a “personalized” first aid kit in your car, office and home.

I Almost Cut My Finger Tip Off – A True Story

One day Tracye and I were at the park and I just got a new Cold Steel Voyager Clip Point.  I was doing what I normally do when getting a new knife, I was working with it, learning how to deploy it AND close it with one hand.

It is the closing it with one hand that got me.

Well, in the process of practicing, I closed the knife on my right index finger and sliced it pretty bad.

Luckily enough, I had a first aid / blow out kit in the car and I was able to administer first aid to myself and stop the bleeding.

The Custom Part – From lessons past, me cutting myself with my knives, I have learned to keep multiple bottles of super glue in first aid kit. For those of you who do not know, super glue will seal up a bad cut pretty quickly. It burns like crazy, but you will close the gap that you sliced into yourself.

Now ask yourself, how may store bought first aid kits have super glue in them?

Just so you know, I started with a good store bought first aid kit, took out some of the junk that you will never use and then added stuff to the kit that I know that I would need in an emergency.

My Basic Kit For The Car – Foundation #1

Because I “customized” my kit, I was able to stop the bleeding, and yes it was spurting out. Just think Monty Python’s Black Knight and my finger was doing just that.

I applied compression long enough to stop the bleeding for a moment and then applied the super glue.

I wrapped it up and in 24 hours the cut started to mend itself.

If I did not have my “customized” first aid kit in my car, I would have bled all over the place and would not have been able to stop the bleeding, at least with what the store bought first aid kit would have had in the box.

These are items I recommend keeping in your vehicle at all times…

Israeli Compression Bandage –

Military Issue Combat Application Tourniquet –

Quick Clot Blood Clotting Agent –

Super Glue Single Packs –

Coleman First Aid Kit –

Now, I know that some of you are asking what did I chuck from the store bought first aid kit?

The first thing to get rid of are the cheap scissors. In an emergency you may need to cut through some blue jeans, a shirt or multiple layers of clothes. This is why a good pair of trauma shears are in order. They are inexpensive, and they will do the job right

Trauma Shears –

Another thing I chuck and replace is the medical tape and replace it with “ Gorilla Tape To-Go.” This is a small roll of 1-inch gorilla tape. The important thing is that when you get it, lift the end and fold it in on itself so it creates a quick pull tab. This stuff sticks to anything, even skin. But the skin cannot be oily, if it is, clean it off with some hand sanitizer gel (which is another good thing to keep in the kit) and wipe it off with a cotton towel (also added to kit) and then it will stick.

Gorilla Tape To-Go –

Hand Sanitizer Gel –

Microfiber Travel Towel –

Now if this is just too crazy and you do not want to go to the time, effort and possible expense, of building a car first aid kit, then here is a great solution. Trauma Pak with QuikClot.

The Trauma Pack features…

  • Respond fast- QuikClot Advanced Clotting Sponge uses zeolite, a common mineral, to help blood clot up to three times faster than blood on its own.
  • Critical first aid information: an easy-to-understand instruction and information pamphlet delivers valuable information on how to treat certain injuries
  • Goes anywhere, so you’re always prepared: fits in a cargo pocket, backpack, duffel bag – practically anywhere
  • Personal protection: nitrile gloves and a biohazard disposal bag provide protection.
  • Durable, waterproof, and reusable: DryFlex(TM) packaging stands up to abuse in the outdoors – you can refill and reuse it for years

The best thing is that this costs about $16 – $18 dollars per kit. So you can purchase several and have one on hand at the office, the car, your home and put one in your bug out bag.

Sport Trauma Pack –

You Keep What In Your Car Kit?

It is a good idea to keep a couple American Eagle silver dollars in your car kit. Why? You never know when you will be in a situation where you need to have some quick money.

Situation #1 – You are stuck on the side of the road, and your wife is injured. Someone has pulled over to help and you need a ride to the hospital. Having a couple of silver dollars in your first aid kit might help secure a ride.

Situation #2 – You need a fast hotel room to apply medical treatment. Again, whipping out some silver may be the thing to gain you access.

The good thing is that this is money that is difficult to spend quickly.  But in an emergency situation, people have offered services when you surprise them with some silver.

As always, I recommend getting your silver from Steve Quayle’s Renaissance Precious Metals. He makes it easy to purchase a few ounces just for a situation like this.

Renaissance Precious Metals –

The Custom Urban/City First Aid Kit & The Custom Country First Aid Kit

OK Ray, why two different kinds of First Aid Kits?

Like it or not, you will run into different sort of wounds living in the city/urban environment than that which you will run into living in a country/suburban environment.

Here is a quick example, how many of you have anti venom for a snake bite sitting around? If you live in the city there is really no need. But where we live in the country, there is a serious need for it because the snakes are plentiful.

It is these sorts of things that you need to think about when creating / building your custom first aid kit so that it will realistically suit you and your family’s needs.

So, to start off, you will need a bag, pack, ect to keep your first aid gear organized. Organization is critical so that you can find stuff in a hurry.

After doing a lot of research, I have found the “3V Gear Velox II Large Tactical Backpack”

I like this for several reasons…

It flips completely open exposing the main compartment. This is important so that when you arrive on the scene you can quickly unzip it and get to the items you need quickly.

It is rugged, tough and with the MOLLE set up you can add more bags, canteen, ect to the outside. It also has Velcro strapping on some of the pockets so that you can Velcro things to the outside like labels, patches, etc. These sorts of labels can also assist you in finding things you need quickly.

It isn’t small, but it isn’t huge either. You want a first aid pack that you can quickly pick up with one hand and sling it on your back if you have to. The straps on this also are very rugged and positioned well so they do not rub. You can carry this for some time on your back and not be hampered by the straps cutting into your neck like a standard school backpack does.

It also comes in different colors. So if you are not the OD Green type, there are other colors to choose from.

3V Gear Velox II –

What Should It Contain – Urban / City ? – Foundation #2

According to the Center for Disease Control, around 213,000 people are treated in emergency rooms each year for injuries that result from outdoor recreation.

The most common injuries (27.4 percent of them), are fractures, followed by muscle strain and sprains (23.9 percent), bruises and abrasions (15.9 percent), lacerations (14.81 percent) and dislocations (3.81 percent).

The CDC also lists concussions, burns, crushing, dental injuries, skin inflammation and poisoning as other common injuries experienced in the outdoors.

The Red Cross recommends the following…

  • 2 absorbent compress dressings (5 x 9 inches)
  • 25 adhesive bandages (assorted sizes)
  • 1 adhesive cloth tape (10 yards x 1 inch)
  • 5 antibiotic ointment packets (approximately 1 gram)
  • 5 antiseptic wipe packets
  • 2 packets of aspirin (81 mg each)
  • 1 blanket (space blanket) [Available on the Red Cross Store]
  • 1 breathing barrier (with one-way valve)
  • 1 instant cold compress
  • 2 pair of nonlatex gloves (size: large)
  • 2 hydrocortisone ointment packets (approximately 1 gram each)
  • Scissors
  • 1 roller bandage (3 inches wide)
  • 1 roller bandage (4 inches wide)
  • 5 sterile gauze pads (3 x 3 inches) [Available on the Red Cross Store]
  • 5 sterile gauze pads (4 x 4 inches)
  • Oral thermometer (non-mercury/nonglass)
  • 2 triangular bandages

Sit and think about all the injuries that one can sustain in an urban / city environment. When I sit and think I imagine the following…

  • Minor cuts, scraps, laceration’s
  • House hold burns & insect / animal bites
  • Sprained wrists, ankles and possible broken bones.
  • Major cuts and punctures from kitchen knives, outdoor tools, etc.
  • Workplace injuries like tunnel carpel, sore back, neck and shoulder.
  • Sport related injuries, heat and cold exposure
  • Infection – Infection can develop after an injury or wound to the skin like a bite or sting, a tattoo or piercing, or other skin problems.

This is just a short list, but it is something to get you thinking.

Now the good news is that pretty much all of that is stuff you can do something about.

No, you’re not going to fix a broken leg in the field, but you could make the potentially very long trip to the hospital much more comfortable and reduce the chances of further injury in the process if your custom first aid kit had a temporary leg or arm brace.

So one of the things you can add to your first aid kit is called a “SAM Splint” it is a roll of thick aluminum that you can mold into a quick brace and then wrap it with a Ace Bandage or Veterinarian Tape. The SAM Splint is extremely moldable, and soft enough to cut with ordinary household scissors and it can be used to splint every bone in the human body.

Sam Splint –

Ace Bandage –

Vet Tape –

NOTE – A little bit on Vet Tape. I discovered this stuff when our German shepherd got a bad cut on the pad of his foot. Vet Tape is a self-sticking rubber elastic tape that does not stick to hair or skin. The great thing is that it is reusable, all you have to do is roll it back up onto itself and you can use it again if needed.

So when I needed to change my shepherd’s bandages, I could roll it off the wound, apply new bandages and the roll it back onto the wound. It sticks to itself and did not stick to the hair on my shepherd’s leg.

This was invented primarily for veterinarian use, but it has made its way over to first aid kits for humans because it is great for treating broken bones and burns where a bandage or such needs to be taken off and re-applied.

Keep Cold & Hot Packs in Your Kits

The need for cold and hot packs in a kit is important. Both of these help relieve pain and swelling where the person has injured themselves or sprained a wrist or ankle.

If you have not seen them, they are about 4” x 5” and they feel like they have small round beads in them. To activate them you just bend them or punch them in the palm of your hand, shake and they start getting hot or cold.

You place them where you need the pain relief or swelling to go down and use your Ace Bandage or Vet Tape to hold them in place.

Cold Packs –

Hot Packs –

Fall Down and Go Boom – Bruises and Abrasions

This is probably the biggest use your first aid kit will be called upon to treat folks, especially if you have kids.

Like it or not everyone will fall down and have a “boo-boo” getting scrapped up in the process. These sorts of injuries aren’t a big deal, but when they do happen, they hurt like the dickens. The biggest issue is that you need to make sure that the scrape does not get infected down the road.

Supplies that can help with this sort of wound are:

– Instant Ice Pack

– Ibuprofen to help ease the pain

– Hydrogen Peroxide, Iodine, hand sanitizer gel to clean and disinfect the wound

– Neosporin to help the wound heal faster

– Bandages to cover the wound and keep it somewhat sterile

– Gorilla Tape (to hold the bandages on)

As you can see, a lot of what we have talked about in sections above, we already have items to treat with.

So that Gorilla tape, ice packs, hand sanitizer gel, bandages we have already covered.

Depending on who you are treating will also determine what you will use to clean the wound.

What I am talking about is…

Does It Sting?

So why should I care if it stings?

When someone is hurt, and you are the caregiver, it means a lot that the person you are caring for is not in pain.

This is why you should consider having several means to clean and disinfect the wound.

Some things to possibly add…

Saline Solution – basically it is water with a bit of salt in it. This is a great solution to flush out wounds and just see what is going on. You would normally associate it to contact lens’ and using it to clean a contact lens. But you can also use it to clean a wound. Since it normally has a “squeeze” top that allows a stream of fluid to come out, you can direct the flow to a cut or scrape and not getting it all over the place.

Saline Solution –

Hydrogen Peroxide – This is a good solution to help clean and disinfect. Hydrogen Peroxide also can help aid in stopping the bleeding of minor wounds. It has a chemical reaction with blood and start “fizzing. ”  This seems to help slow down the bleeding in like a cut finger or such. If you leave in on a fresh wound, the fizzing will start to turn into a burning stinging sensation.

Hydrogen Peroxide –

Betadine – this is a povidone-iodine antiseptic for wounds that is safe to apply to both human and pets. You don’t use this really to clean out a cut or wound, although you can. When I have used it personally I did not feel any sting to it like you would normally get with standard iodine. Betadine has been used in homes and hospitals worldwide as an important first line of defense against topical infections. Betadine Microbicides help to reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection.

Betadine –

Rubbing Alcohol – Ok, talk about sting, this stuff will sting like crazy. But if you have to use it to clean a wound, then you use it. Just have someone helping keep the person still. Another option is to use vodka or scotch to clean a wound over this because at least the vodka or scotch has a lower alcohol level and may not burn as much. But if this is all you had, then go for it.

NOTE – do not use this on a small child, you can actually give the child alcohol poisoning as it absorbs into the skin and the child become somewhat “drunk” which will quickly lead to the poisoning.

Rubbing Alcohol –

Items For Your Kit

It is great to have all the band aids and gauze, but there are some other medical tools that are really good to have in your kit.

Electronic Ear Thermometer – These are a great way to get the temperature of a person quickly. Most hospitals now use these. Make sure you check the batteries on these from time to time if you are not using them. Keep an extra set of batteries in your kit as well just in case these go out.

Electronic Ear Thermometer – NO ORAL –

Stethoscope – Need to hear the person breathing, got tummy issues or their heart still ticking? You need a stethoscope. I actually have two. One for our kit and one we keep in the barn to listen to the horses or other animals, but primarily for the horses so that we can listen for colic which can kill a horse rather quickly.  In the case of a horse, if you do not hear any stomach gurgling, they might have colic.

Stethoscope –

Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor – You hear their heart with the stethoscope, but you need to know their blood pressure. This is where this comes in handy. SO you wrap the belt around the person’s arm and push the button and you are then given a set of numbers.

OK… so what does the numbers mean?

  • Less than 120 over 80: Your blood pressure is normal and healthy. Follow a healthy lifestyle to keep it at this level.
  • Between 120 over 80 and 140 over 90: Your blood pressure is a little higher than it should be, and you should try to lower it. Make healthy changes to your lifestyle.
  • 140 over 90 or higher (over a number of weeks): You have high blood pressure. Change your lifestyle – see your doctor or nurse and take any medicines they may give you.
    Source –

By knowing this, you will also know if the person is in danger of some sort of cardiac issue. So once you have given first aid, you then get the person to the hospital if they are in some of those danger zones as mentioned above.

Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor –

Tongue Depressors – open up and say AHHhhhhh. Use these to check a person’s throat. Maybe your child is not feeling well, and you need to check for strep throat. You need to have one of these on hand or in a pinch you can use a kitchen butter knife. But what you are looking for is a red irritated throat. If looking for strep, you will see white puss on the back of the throat.  These also double great for using to splint a broken finger or use multiple to splint a hand, that is if you do not have a Sam Splint.

Tongue Depressors –

N95 Surgical Mask – If you do not know the person, having a N95 surgical mask will help prevent the spread of disease. If you child has the flu and you do not want to get it, wear one of these when you are treating them in their room. Keeping these and eye protection is important for your first aid kit.

N95 Surgical Mask –

Medical Eye Goggles – two words… spit and vomit. IF you do not have a set of these, and you get spit on or vomited on, you will have wished you had some. One of the fastest ways a virus can enter your body is by your eyes, nose or mouth. This is why you want to have these areas covered. Use an N95 Surgical Mask to keep your mouth and nose covered and eye goggles to protect your eyes.  The both of these are very important especially if you are treating someone you do not know or know their medical history.

Medical Eye Goggles –

Small Surgical Kit – There are some things that you might have to do to help the person. A small surgical kit could provide you some needed tools. For example, using forceps to keep a cut closed, Tweezers to pull a bad splinter, scalpel to lance a cyst. All these things are in a surgical kit. Even though you can purchase other things that can do the job, these are made to do the job and the quality are just better. Ever try pulling a splinter with a pair of cheap tweezers?

Small Surgical Kit –

Fenix Flashlight – I am a huge fan of these. They are super bright and the CR123A last forever. I have one of these by the side of my bed. Building on Foundations

As you may realize by now we are “Building” upon our Car kit, then to our City kit and then going to our Country kit.

In other words, what you have in your car kit you will have in your city and country kit. What you have in your city kit will also be part of your country kit. SO the country kit will have what is in your car kit and city kit as well as other items we will talk about in the next article.

We have a $400+ shortfall every month. I HATE coming to the readers every month asking to help.

You love what we are doing. We get emails from many of you every week.

We are working like mad to fill these holes, but it is slow going. Tracye and I are developing a “tent building” business, but we need help with some breathing room.

All we are asking is for one year….

Will You Stand With Us For Just One Year?

We need 6 people willing to stand with us at $100 a month.

12 people willing to stand with us at $50 a month.

24 people willing to stand with us at $25 a month.

Folks, just one year.

We have been reviewing our business plan to reinvigorate PZ, Servant Warrior and introduce our life coach business. We have been getting great mentoring support from several individuals and all of us are very confident in our business plans that we have been working on.

We know that we will do well, we just need one year of breathing room to accomplish this.

Pt 2 – Creating a First Aid Kit Suited to YOU and YOUR Needs

By Ray Gano

In Part 1 I talk about a customized first aid kit for you and your family I introduced the different levels or foundations.

REVIEW – Foundation #1 – Custom Car First Aid Kit

First foundation was a customized car first aid kit.

What I took was an off the shelf Coleman First Aid Kit and used that as my basic foundation for my customized car kit.

From that I added the following items…

  • Trauma Shears
  • Israeli Compression Bandage
  • Military Issue Combat Application Tourniquet
  • Quick Clot Blood Clotting Agent
  • Super Glue Single Packs
  • Gorilla Tape To-Go
  • Hand Sanitizer Gel
  • Microfiber Travel Towel

If this is to much to think about, I highly recommend a all in one pack called – Trauma Pak with QuikClot

In your car kit I am also recommending that you put a few ounces of silver / American Eagle silver dollars in my kits.

Again whipping out some silver may be the thing to gain you access.

REVIEW – Foundation #2 – Custom Urban Home First Aid Kit

The first level / foundation is our car kit, and our second level / foundation is our urban First aid kit.

By foundations or levels what you have in your Urban Home First Aid Kit will also have the same items that your Customized Car First Aid Kit.

Most important is a good means to keep your kit in a good secure bag / backpack of some sorts.

You need something simple to keep your first aid gear organized.

These sort of labels can also assist you in finding things you need quickly.

According to the Center for Disease Control, around 213,000 people are treated in emergency rooms each year for injuries that result from outdoor recreation.

The most common injuries (27.4 percent of them), are fractures, followed by muscle strain and sprains (23.9 percent), bruises and abrasions (15.9 percent), lacerations (14.81 percent) and dislocations (3.81 percent).

The CDC also lists concussions, burns, crushing, dental injuries, skin inflammation and poisoning as other common injuries experienced in the outdoors.

If you have not read my first article on a Urban Home Custom First Aid Kit, take the time to read all the items that believe will help you build a really great custom first aid kit for your home.  I go into great detail as to what is realistic to have on hand.

You can read the first part of that article here…

Please take the time to read that because you need the #2 Level / Foundation items so that you can then build off of that and go to our #3 Level / Foundation Custom Suburban / Country First Aid Kit.

Foundation #3 – Custom Suburban / Country First Aid Kit

You have your custom car kit and your custom urban kit, now we are going to take those two kits and build off of those to create a custom suburban / country kit.

NOTE – As I have mentioned before, you will run into different sort of wounds living in the city/urban environment than that which you will run into living in a suburban/ country environment.

What I am presenting is suggestions that I think are wise if you live in a suburban / country environment.

But my suggestions are not an end all to be all. What you need to do is really survey your living situation and think about what illnesses or injuries you or your family may encounter.

One of the first things that I recommend to anyone living outside and a distance from a doctor or clinic is one of the best books in the world, “Where There Is No Doctor” by David Werner

This book was written with missionaries in mind being in the deepest parts of the world where no doctor is available. So you become the primary care giver. This book is a wealth of information and will teach you have to treat a plethora of illnesses, injuries and even some minor surgeries. It is written in a very easy to understand way so that a lay person can read it and be able to perform medical functions. It also has a lot of images to help the person who is treating and caring for the sick.

One other thing that I am really impressed with this book is the list of medicines and illnesses in the back. For example, you need to use an antibiotic, but you are not sure what antibiotic to use. This appendix helps you determine what doses and medicines for you to use for certain situations.

Where there Is No Doctor –

There are some great companions books that go along with this series that I HIGHLY recommend as well.

Where there is no Dentist –

Where there is no doctor for Women –

Finally I recommend and excellent book by my friends Dr. Joseph Alton AKA “Doc Bone” and his wife “Nurse Amy”  “The Survival Medicine Handbook.”

The Survival Medicine Handbook: A Guide for When Help is Not on the Way

These are all very good books to have on your shelf and I would keep “where there is no doctor” in your bag so you have it as a reference.

In fact, the author made the book available for free in a PDF version. If you would like to download a copy to keep on a Kindle or Smart phone, you can download the PDF here…

Where There Is  No Doctor PDF –

I DO NOT recommend this be your only copy. You need to have a physical copy of this book so that you can look things up in a hurry and possibly have someone holding the book so that you can read and treat at the same time.

Where there Is No Doctor –

In The Country? Beware The Critters

As man moves out into the country where critters live, he is more than likely going to run into said critters.

Some of these animals are nice, cute and cuddly, others will kill you if you harass them to much.

Some of the most common is the Rattlesnakes, Cotton Mouth / Water Moccasin, and the Copperhead. There are others like the Coral Snake, but statistics show that they are not as aggressive as the vipers mentioned above.

So what you need is an excellent snake bite kit.

Forget those little “Cutter Hi-Lo” snake bite kits.   They are outdated and it is found that cutting the wound to make it bleed is not a good idea.

There is a great kit on the market called “The Sawyer Snake Bite Kit” which uses a special pump that looks more like a syringe and it is very easy to use. In fact, you can use it with one hand if you had to use it on yourself.

Here  is the description of the Sawyer Snake Bite Kit…

The Sawyer Extractor Pump Kit extracts venom and poisons from the bites and stings of snakes, bees, wasps, mosquitoes and more. The Extractor’s double chamber vacuum pump action is designed to provide powerful suction for the extraction of venoms and poisons without the need for scalpel blades or knives used in other kits. Because it’s a pump, not a syringe, it’s easy to use with one hand.

When using, select one of the 4 plastic cups that will best cover the bitten area and attach it to the pump, then using your thumb simply push the plunger and the extractor pump will quickly and effectively remove venom’s and poisons from beneath your skin. By simply cleaning the cups after each use you can safely reuse the pump many times over.

The Sawyer Extractor is most effective at retrieving venom outside of the muscle areas of the body. Retrieving venom quickly can significantly improve treatment results by medical practitioners. In muscle areas such as the calf muscles, venom quickly enters the circulatory system and an extractor pump is less effective.

This is the kit that we have, in fact because they are so inexpensive, I have several and keep them in places where I can get to one quickly if I have to.

Sawyer Extractor Pump Kit –

Dealing With Bee, Wasp, Scorpion Stings

You do not know how many times I have been pruning a bush and I upset a wasp’s nest that I had no idea was there.

Talk about a sting that really hurts. Those buggers pack a punch. Usually I get stung on my forearm and when it has happened, it swells up pretty badly.
When this happens, the first thing that I do is get my Benadryl and pop a few of those. It will help with any possible allergic reaction that I might have.

Benadryyl –

Second I get some anti-sting medicine on it and it helps ease the pain.

Sting Kill Swabs –

Third, and this is something that I found really helps is putting a cold pack / ice pack on the sting. What is amazing is that the cold literally shuts down the pain. Why it works I have no idea, but it helps.

I remember recently I got stung by a scorpion and I slept with an ice pack on my foot, (that’s where I got stung) and it kept the pain at bay pretty well. I wrapped one of those old fashioned ice packs on my foot with an ace bandage and it was good to go.

Muller Ice Pack –

These are a great thing to have no matter what and have many applications.

SPECIAL NOTE – If you live in the country, you may want to get a test done to see if you are hyper-allergic to bee stings and the such. If you are or you know that you are, you need to have some “eppi-pens” prescribed to you so that you do not go into anaphylactic shock and your airway becomes constricted. Benadryl will help with this, but if you hyper-allergic, it is better to be safe than to be sorry.

Punctures & Serious Lacerations (cuts)

Living in the country often means having to do laborious outdoor work. It also means that you will be exposed to tools of the farming trade that you may not be so familiar with, for example…

  • Pitchfork
  • Machete
  • Scythe
  • Hoe
  • Ax
  • Chainsaw
  • Hatchet
  • Long Knife
  • Skinning Knife
  • … and the list goes on.

You get the idea. Many of these tools can really do some damage. If you are punctured or cut with one of these, you’re in a world of hurt.

Now the items that I am going to recommend may sound funny to you, but if you think of the logic around these items, they make complete sense.

Not only is it a good idea to have several Israeli bandages on hand, but I have found that using women’s sanitary products, which are made to absorb large amounts of blood, can also help in a big way.

What turned me on to this ideology was when I was attending a CQC handgun class. The teacher said that he kept several tampons in his “blow-out” kit. He noticed that the different sizes of tampons correspond to the different sizes of bullet wounds.

Small tampon – .22 – .38 bullet

Medium/Regular tampon – 9mm – 45 cal

Large tampon – 357 on up.

Because these are made to expand and basically stop the bleeding, inserting these into a puncture wound will also do the same thing. Pour some “quick clot” on the wound and insert the tampon and you could effectively stop the bleeding long enough to get the person to a clinic or hospital.

Super Absorbent Tampon –

Women’s kotex can also help be uses as pressure bandages. The different thickness’ and sizes can be adapted to different cuts you may need to treat.

In today’s modern kotex they are treated so that they can absorb more blood  in a thinner amount of padding.

So if you were out in the field cutting down weeds and vines and your arm or leg got badly cut, applying one of these “sanitary napkins” could help keep the bleeding at bay.

SPECIAL NOTE – As I have stated before, I HIGHLY recommend having multiple Israeli compression bandages on hand. But if you do not have some of these, then applying quick clot, a kotex pad and wrap it with an Ace bandage can also help. A sanitary napkin is just a quick replacement in case you do not have a compression bandage in your kit.

One Final Thing To Think About Pet Medicine

If you have pets, and you live out in the country, you may want to think about how you will treat them medically if they have an injury or illness.

The best place to start is… you guessed it, a first aid kit.

Here is what I recommend the “AKC Pet First Aid Kit.” Couple this with what you have in your total kit and you have what you need to treat most pet injuries and illnesses.

This kit can be used from everyday tick removals, insect bites, extra water for a walk in the park and of course when emergency help is required for your pet.

This 50 piece kit, also provides extra room inside so that you can customize it for your pet. Good things to think of including are some of your pet’s favorite treats, any special medications they may need, special vet instructions, etc.

Some of the items in this kit include…

  • waterproof emergency ID card
  • a thermal foil emergency blanket,
  • reflective leash,
  • a collapsible food/water bowl,
  • plastic water bottle,
  • plastic pill/vitamin container,
  • alcohol cleansing pads,
  • medicine applicator,
  • fur-friendly vet wrap,
  • tweezers with attached magnifying glass,
  • pet safety guide and more.

We have two of these kits and we have added a 16 oz bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide to clean wounds and also if needed to help induce vomiting in case the dog ate something poisonous. Included in this are some syringes so we can draw up a certain amount of peroxide and then administer it down the pets throat. The size of the pet will determine the amount of hydrogen peroxide you will need to use.

AKC Pet First Aid Kit –

We also have included charcoal pills that will also help with poisonous substances that the dog may have ingested. Please note that since we own dogs, most of what I am suggesting is geared to dogs, but in a lot of cases can be used for cats as well.

Also continuing the “Where There Is No Doctor” theme, here is an excellent book that I recommend, “Where There Is No Animal Doctor. The author’s hope that this book will be useful for people living in areas where there is no veterinarian available

This is an amazing manual covering animal functions of all the major domestic animals. It is written in a simple, easy to understand style, and like the other books, have many good graphics to help illustrate.

This book was really developed to benefit folks living in many of the rural areas of the world where livestock still play an important role in village life.

It deals with many different animal health related topics, including disease prevention, control and treatment, and the promotion of good animal nutrition.

It is hoped that people who use this book will be able to realize which disease conditions they can handle on their own and when to call for help from more experienced animal health workers.

Where there is no animal doctor –

It is my hope that this two part article has been able to serve you and help you think about creating and building your own Custom First Aid Kit no matter where you are located so that in any sort of emergency or even non-emergency situation, you can treat yourself and your family if you have to. Once you then have them stabilized and if needed, you can then seek further medical treatment from a medical professional in your area.

Our Voices Are Being Silenced – We’ve Got To Fight Back

By Ray Gano

The days that we are living in are amazing. In all honesty I would not choose any other time to live.

Our nation, in fact the world is at a crossroad.

This week I had the great honor to spend about 4 hours on video chat with Mark Sutherland. We were working on his video presentation for “Last Days Warrior Summit – Patriots & Prophecy”

We talked about how there is so much in common with the UK and US. Right now the UK is in a fight against their own people. The people voted to leave the European Union AKA “BREXIT”

The powers that be, their equivalent of congressmen and senators are fighting to stay in. The powers that be want globalism and the people want sovereignty.

We see the same thing happening here in the US and the people’s choice of electing President Trump.

The leftist / socialist / Soros paid conspirators are working overtime to shutdown / shout-down the people’s voice… and they are being successful.

How they are doing this is through “Corporate Totalitarianism.”

If you have not followed what happened to Alex Jones, his internet presence is being stiped away.

Facebook has pulled his page.

Twitter has canceled his account never to return.

Google has buried his search results.

But that is not all.

Conservative actor James Woods had his Twitter account suspended for 30 days.

David Clarke Former sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He is a black gentleman who is a frequent conservative commentator seen on Fox News.

British nationalist Tommy Robinson has a permanent ban because spoke out against Muslims and Islamic takeover of Brittan

President Trump has even been suspended due to a rogue employee who works for the social media giant Twitter shutting him down.

Folks, this is real and it has even effected me.

Just a few days ago I learned that Google Adds has suspended my account just one hour after I posted my article “ANTIFA Protests To Shut Down Austin Church

The reason why?

Because I posted “offensive content”

What was the content?

Well, I looked over the article I just posted and the only thing that I could determine was this…

“Last weekend militant LGBTQLMNOP protesters along with the local Antifa cell in Austin gathered in front of Celebration Church, a rather large church in Austin and tried to shut down the service.”

So for me to get my google adds reinstated, I need to remove my article.

I have been demonetized on You Tube – No longer making any income from that. I was pulling in about $150-$300 a month

Google has buried me and 400 other websites. I used to get over 1200 unique views a day. I now get about 120 a day.  This has affected our income greatly as well.

Twitter has a “shadow ban” on me and when I think I am posting to the world, the only one who sees many of my posts is just me, no one else.

Facebook has buried me and now I am lucky if I show up on 25 or more individuals newsfeed any more. I used to get hundreds of likes and comments on my Facebook wall.

Today maybe 10-12 per post if I am lucky to get that many.

The socialist left coupled with “Corporate Totalitarianism” is stifling the voices of conservatives and they are wrenching down the thumb screws in a big way.

Because we have elections coming up and they HATE that the American people voted Donald J Trump in by a landslide.

The globalists are fighting and fighting hard. They are shutting down any voice they can that promotes freedom, the constitution, right to life, pro-Christian, pro-conservative, pro-Trump.

This is why God has allowed us to create and produce The Last Days Warrior Summit.

Our voices are being silenced by news outlets and the progressive left-leaning social media leviathan. What are we going to do about it?

What if Christ tarries for many more years? How are we going to prepare?

“Summit noun sum·mit | \ ˈsə-mət -a meeting of some of the highest-level minds focusing on a critical topic.”

The Last Days Warrior Summit, a premium-members only International event will empower and equip you with the knowledge and tools to answer these questions; what are we going to do about it and how are we going to prepare.

If a conservative news organization put publicly this information that will be available to you at this summit, the liberals would protest, wreak havoc, and attempt to shut down these voices just like they have done to many conservatives already.

BUT…The bigger picture is how does all of this fit within Bible prophecy?

The Last Days Warrior Summit will answer these questions and so much more…

  • You will get the uncensored truth…
  • You will learn why our freedoms matter…
  • Gain new insight into what is going on…
  • You will be equipped to be active within your sphere of influence…
  • Gain that inside scoop that others are missing out on…
  • Learn how we can put God at the forefront again…
  • You will learn how all of this is fitting within the realm of Bible prophecy…
  • Network with other like-minded individuals…
  • Be a part of future speaker Q&A in a secret forum…

Heck, you may even be that one person which brings about the change that will turn this situation around, leaving a better legacy for our kids and grandkids!

Building A Realistic 72 Hour Bug Out Bag

By Ray Gano

We have seen all the survival movies and read some of the really good prepper books. All of these you will see the hero or heroine have a “bug out bag” AKA BOB.

Whenever the good guy is faced with some sort of apocalyptic situation, they dug into their trusty BOB and pulled out that needed survival item that saved the day for them and their group.

Another situation that often happens, the good guy runs up against the undead and the hero again pulls out some great weapon and takes out 20 zombies.

Finally, the group stops and makes camp and once again the hero basically pulls out the Hilton hotel of tents, sets it up in two minutes, has a fire and is munching down on some really great food.

REALLY?? What DOESN’T this guy have in that back pack?

Folks, what we need to remember is that this is Hollywood and isn’t real.

When we lived in Texas I used to conduct classes teaching people how to build a realistic Bug Out Bag.

But before we started the class, I wanted everyone to have a good US Army MOLLE Back Rucksack or at least the equivalent.

Here is what I suggest –

Now if you buy one new, they are on the expensive side about $175-$200 and that is when you can find them in stock.

You can also get them used, which you find these used ones in really good condition and those range around $75+.

NOW, the problem with a used ruck is that some of the gear is missing, like the better padded waist belt or the improved shoulder straps. These are included in the MOLLE II ACU pack, so keep your eyes out for them. They will make a difference.

Here is a good link for used rucks –

Now, the reason I had my students get these before the class because I held class at Walmart.

I made the students wear the pack and as we walked through the store, I would make recommendations to them about the different gear, supplies, food, ect.

No shopping carts were allowed, but they could use the hand baskets that you can carry. When we walked through the store, they had to put all the stuff in the back pack or in the hand baskets. But no matter what, they had to carry their items.

That in and of itself was a big learning lesson for a lot of people. They realized really quick was really needed verses that stuff that looked good in the movies.

My class usually lasted about 3 hours and it gave folks a good idea of what it meant to lug all this stuff around, dodge other shoppers and well as stay out of the way of each other, but close enough to listen to my lecture.

Building Your Own Customized Realistic Bug Out Bag

So right now you should have a good sturdy rucksack that can hold a bunch of survival stuff with you, throw it on your back and then walk to your predetermined destination.

But here is the realistic thing, just because you have tons of pockets, pouches and such, does not mean that you have to fill them with stuff.

This is one of the mistakes that a lot of people make when building their 72 hour Bug Out Bag.

It is 72 hours folks, this is NOT a Get Out Of Dodge Bag. I will talk more in the future about a true Get Out Of Dodge Bag (GOODB)

If you read my Customized First Aid Kits article, then you understand that I customize in stages or what I call Foundations. This 72 hour BOB is foundation #2.

What is Foundation #1? Well your office Get Home Bag, you can read about that here…

Get Home Bag –

Foundation Bag #3 is your Get Out Of Dodge Bag (GOOD)

So, first things first, let’s focus on the BASICS for a 72 hour bug out bag.

Basics #1 – Clothing, Hat, Gloves & a Drive on Rag

Clothes are important but what we need to remember is that we are packing for 72 hours, NOT packing to live the rest of our lives out of a backpack.

We need to be strategic in what we are going to wear.

First, we need to take weather into consideration. Is it hot where you live, cold, rainy, snow, etc? To keep your BOB up to date, you will need to pull clothes out and put clothes in to suit the weather.

Let’s focus on cold and think in layers. If you focus on cold and maintain layers, you can always adapt and strip down layers if the weather is warm. What you do not want to do is pack for warmth and then all of a sudden unannounced you are stuck in the cold with only warm weather clothes.

A good pair of jeans several shirts, and thinking layers, so a “T-Shirt” then a long sleeve shirt and then even a long sleeve wool shirt or light jacket depending on where you are located.

IF you are in a colder region, you may want to pack some Thermasilk long underwear. Yes, they are more expensive, but they keep you warmer and they are lighter to carry instead of the bulky cotton ones you normally find at Walmart.

It is always good to have some sort of head covering like a good baseball hat, stocking cap or both. You lose the most amount of your body heat from your head. IF you keep it covered, it helps keep in the heat. A hat also protects your head from the elements and will cushion a bit if you bump your head against some low hanging branch, or some sort of obstacle you may be crawling / ducking under.

When I was in the Army I was part of Special Ops and one thing that to this day that I always have in any of my bags is a “Drive on Rag.” What is a Drive on Rag? It is a Military Cravat Triangular Bandage. These things are great and have many uses.

Primarily we hung it off our rucksack strap and used it to wipe the sweat from our face as we were humping through the brush. “Wipe that sweat off your face their troop and drive on.” Thus, the name Drive on Rag.

But another great use is to wear it on your head like a bandana, it helps absorb the sweat, but it will also help trap in some of the heat, so you do not lose body temperature. You can also wear it under a hat, just adjust the hat to fit.

Something else that is like the drive on rag is the Shemagh. This is a large thin cotton scarf that you see a lot of military wear. They have million and one uses. I have several I still use them.

In fact, here are 20 ways to use your Shemagh…

– Protection from Sun

– Cool Down Yourself

– Warm Layer

– Protection from Dust, Sand & Wind

– Improvised Water Collector

– Primitive Pillow to Make Your Sleep Comfortable

– Simple Traveling Bag

– Soft Towel to Dry Yourself

– Bandage to Keep Small Wounds Clean

– Tourniquet to Stop Bleeding

– Sling for Injured Arm

– Emergency Water Filter to Get Rid of Debris

– Comfortable Foot Wrap to Replace Lost Sock

– Makeshift Potholder

– Blanket to Keep Yourself Warm

– Improvised Baby Swaddler

– Simple Trail Marker to Not Get Lost

– Splint Tie to Fix Your Injury

– Poultice to Speed up Healing Process

– Washcloth to Keep Everything Clean

Hands need gloves. It is imperative that you have a good pair of gloves that allow your hands to breathe as well as protect your hands. I like the “Mechanic” brand of gloves. They are meant to take a beating, but they are thin enough to maintain your finger dexterity.

You want to wear glove if you are bugging out to your predesignated site. Why? You may fall, need to climb walls or fences, crawl on the ground, move debris, a number of things you may encounter where you may need to clear obstacles with your hands. Doing something like that when your hands are not used to it, and without gloves, your hands are going to look pretty chewed up. You will need your hands once you get to your destination, so make sure you protect them with a good pair of gloves that you can really work and maneuver in.

Finally, it is a good idea to have a pair of high impact safety sun glasses. I have a pair of Jackson Nemisis Safety Glasses. These are made for people who use those gas-powered weed-eaters. You know how small rocks, and such always get slung through the air. Well these are great high impact sunglasses. You do not know what sort of situations you will be facing, falling debris, people throwing rocks and such, wind hurling all sort of stuff in the air. This is why it is good to have a pair of high impact glasses.

The Nemisis glasses are super thick plastic, anti-fog and run about $9.00 on Amazon. These are what I wear today, and they are great.

Basics #2 – Food & Water

If you have been a reader of mine, you know that I am a fan of the ER 3600 Calorie Bar. These taste great and are pre-scored into smaller bars that you can break off or easily cut off with a knife.

They taste kind of like butter cookies, and they do not make you thirsty like other survival bars or food will do. They are 6″x6″ square so you can fit a number of them in your Bug Out Bag and they not take up much room.

You can see the video here that I produced talking about the ER Bar.

Another item that you need to have in your Bug Out Bag is a means to contain and filter water.

I am a HUGE fan of Berkey water filters. We use them ourselves and we even own a Royal Berkey Water Filter. These are the best water filters in the world. One of the best things you can put in your bag is a Berkey Sport bottle. This will filter 125 gallons of treated water, 75 gallons of swamp / muddy water. These are a great thing to have on hand to not only keep in your Office Bug Out Bag / Get Home Bag, but also to keep a few in the car and other places. You never know when you are going to need to get some water and these are inexpensive enough that you can purchase multiple bottles.

Here is a video of me when we lived out at the ranch of me drinking out of a skanky pool that our dogs and chickens used to drink out of and even bath in.

Finally, you want to have water in your bag just in case you cannot supply yourself before you leave your area.

Answer – emergency water pouches / boxes are a great way to go. The negative is that they will weigh down your pack, so you need to really assess how much you will put in your pack to get you going till you can find some sort of water that you can use your Berkey Sport Bottle.

NOTE – if you are having to seek out water, find your water source and make sure you hydrate yourself by drinking as much as you can there at your water source, then filling up your bottle on top of that.

Throw in a few salt packets or Gatorade packets in your bag so that you can put some in your mouth and then drink some water.

DO NOT ADD SALT OR GATORIAD TO THE SPORT BOTTLE… it will filter those things out as well. But you need replenish your electrolytes. So, putting a little bit of powdered Gatorade in your mouth then taking a swig of water will help you build those electrolytes back up again.

Another good thing is adding a bottle of salt pills. These will help you replenish your electrolytes as well. Keeping hydrated and the electrolytes up will help you in your trek home.

Basics #3 – First Aid Kit / Gun Shot Kit

I like the Coleman’s Expedition First Aid Kit. It has 205-Pieces and it is slim in a neoprene sort of case. This is a good starting point for your BOB First Aid Kit.

You also want to have in your bug out bag medical supplies like an Israeli Compression bandage, Tourniquet, quick clot blood clotter. These are needed just in case one sustains gun shot or bad knife cut. If you are bugging out, then things have gotten bad. There could be a chance that you could get cut or shot while traveling. You will need to have the items on hand to stop the bleeding.

Something else that a number of people have told me about is having a small tampon in your gun shot kit. A small tampon can be pushed into the bullet hole and then deployed into the wound. The small size tampon is about the size of a 9 mm to .45 caliber bullet. These are made to stop the bleeding and that is what you have to do. Having a few sanitary pads also are also good for knife wounds, bad cuts and scrapes. Again, these are made to hold blood and can help stop the bleeding. You can use some Gorilla Duct Tape to keep these things in place.

OH… super glue. You would be amazed at the first aid uses super glue has. It is great at closing up a cut quickly. This is why I always keep it on hand.

Put all these things in your Coleman First Aid Kit and you are good to go..

Now because this is custom to you, you also might want to odd assortment of stomach meds, allergy meds, head ache, nausea, sore muscles and whatever else you might need or can think of.

One last thing, bug spray and sun tan lotion. These are also good things to add to your first aid kit. You will be walking, and you will encounter both bugs and the sun.

Walking? Think Sore Muscles

This is something that a lot of people do not think about to put in their bug out bags. You are probably going to have to walk to where ever you are going. Driving a car out of a disaster area, or where ever will probably not be realistic. You and a million other people will be trying to drive out of town. So, you need to be ready to walk. That may be 10, 20, 30 plus miles.

Newsflash – You will be sore; your muscles will hurt if you are having to hump a ruck out of town.

So, it is a great idea to keep something for sore muscles and pain relievers. Personally, I LOVE tiger balm and in fact we use it all the time. It comes in a really small jar that you could keep in the first aid kit and a little bit goes a long way.

Keeping a few pairs of extra socks and a few pairs of extra underwear also in your bag is a very good idea. You do not need clean pants or shirts, but clean socks and underwear are not only a pick me up motivator, but it will help prevent blisters, chafing and fungal infections. Putting a small bottle of Gold Bond Medicated Powder in your bag is also a good idea. This will help prevent any fungal infections taking root.

Believe me, I speak from experience. When I was in Spec Ops and out in the field, we easily walked 20 + miles a day with a heavy rucksack on our back. Having fresh socks, underwear and some body powder was like a blessing from heaven. If you have to walk, you will be glad for the little comforts as well.

There is an old saying” Take care of your feet and they will take care of you.” Believe me, this is gospel truth my friend.

Basics # 4 – The Need For Sleep – Poncho, Poncho Liner & Space Blanket

You have to think about how long it may take you to literally walk to your predetermined destination.

Forget those “survival blankets” made out of thin mylar. They rip really easily, they are shiny like a mirror, and they are very noisy. Plus, they really do not do a good job of keeping you warm. They cost what, $3.00 or so? Well you get what you pay for …. right?

But you need something that will help you stay dry and keep you warm at night, in fact something you can use multiple nights if is necessary.

When I was in Spec Ops we did not have the luxury of sleeping bags. What we used was a wet weather poncho and a blanket type item called a poncho liner.

When you tie the poncho and liner together, you have a pretty good weather proof blanket that you can cover up with and get a good night’s sleep. The newer wet weather poncho also comes in a digital cammo pattern. Covering up with this will also camouflage you and not draw attention to yourself. Being digital cammo, the pattern does well in both a city and urban and wooded environment. You need to remember that things may not be going well, and you will not want to draw attention to yourself. So remaining camouflaged may be something that you want to do and having a digital pattern poncho could help you with that.

NOW… to kick this up a notch and this is what I personally carried, it was an all-weather space blanket that is the same size as a military poncho. These do not have the hole or hood cut out in the middle. I tied my poncho liner into space blanket and had a great warm blanket. If you have a wife who likes to sew, have her sew the two together, but keep them seam on the edge so that there are no holes in the middle to prevent rain from seeping in. Just so you know, I have slept in mine in below 30 degree weather and it kept me toasty warm.

How I used all these items together…

I would gather up a pile of leaves or pine needles. Once I had a good pile, I would cover that with my poncho. Then lay on top of the soft pile covered with the poncho and then cover up with my space blanket and poncho liner. Let’s just say that I started a trend with my team and we all slept well, that is when we were able to get some sleep.

A good military poncho and poncho liner will also help protect you from the elements, keeping you dry as well as warm as you are walking.

Pairing the poncho with some 550 paracord, you can also make a shelter out of the poncho and still have the poncho liner to keep you warm.

Here are some examples…

The military poncho is a very versatile tool. But you couple that with a space blanket and poncho liner and you are able to handle just about any inhospitable weather Mother Nature wants to throw at you. These fold/roll-up pretty tight, they are light, and easy to stuff in your Bug Out Bag / Rucksack

My Tatang Survival Knife

If you are looking for a great survival fixed blade knife, I HIGHLY recommend this knife. It is a high carbon steel knife that I can sharpen to a razor edge with a rock if I have to. This is why I love higher carbon-based knives. This blade is so sharp I can literally shave with this knife.

Here is my Tatang in relation to a K-Bar. As you can see this knife has got some heft and you are able to also choke up on the blade to give you more fighting agility. Hold it by the grip and it will hack into any tree or lop of any branch you need it too. I have also sharpened the top edge, which was sharp when I pulled it out of the box, but now it is razor sharp. This knife with its “Spear point” can literally double if need be as a spear. Strap it on with some 550 cord to a long stick and you have a pretty formidable weapon and a means to defend or hunt if you have too.

It is also very versatile where you can dig with this knife, chop as I mentioned, and even use it to skin out a deer or hog. The edge holds pretty well and I was really surprised. This is a knife that if you had to, you could even throw it. But it would take some practice to do that.

This is a beast of a knife and is one of my top ten knives out of all the knives I own. This is definitely my “go to” knives if I needed to be in a survival situation and the main reason why I purchased it.

Tomahawk / Map & Compass

A much-needed tools to have in your Bug Out Bag is a tomahawk, map and compass. I personally recommend United Cutlery’s M48 Ranger Hawk Axe with Compass. I personally have this very tomahawk and I have put it through its paces. It is a GREAT cutter and you can put a real good edge on it. The compass is a good military type compass that when you pair it with a map of your local area, or the area you where your predetermined destination point is located.

Why I recommend having a tomahawk in your bag is that it will double as a weapon, but you may need it to cut open a door, break a window, chop wood or chop up a wooden pallet to make a fire.

The Tomahawk is a great all-around tool and that is why many of the frontiersmen carried them.

The compass is needed to help you get home, especially if you have to go navigate areas you may not know or know as well. You do not know what sort of situation may be taking place, so you may have to avoid areas that have riots, fires, who knows what. So having a map and compass in your Bug Out Bag is critical.

Leatherman SkeleTool CX Multitool

This is a great multitool, it is on the expensive side because it is the one made with carbon fiber, which makes the weight about 5 ounces. This has all the basic tools that you really need…

A lock blade Knife

Screw driver with philips and flat head bits

Needle Nose Pliers

Regular and Hard Wire cutters

Bottle Opener / Carabiner

Really, those are all the tools that you will really need in the day to day life. I have used my Leatherman for a million and one things. I got it when they first came out and I have loved it ever since. You can carry it on your belt loop, which is what I often do, or slip it into your pocket. There is a belt holster you can get for them, but I don’t like those so I don’t use it. Clipping it on my right side belt loop and then my cell phone can also help hold it in place which I do clip to my belt.

Here is a video review I did several years ago –

Spyderco Resilience G-10 Plain Edge Knife / Cold Steel Voyager Clip Point XL

The Spyderco Resilience G-10 and The Cold Steel Voyager Clip Point XL are my “EDC” knives.

EDC = Every Day Carry. So every day I have one of these knives in my pocket almost all the time. If I do not have it on me, then it is sitting by me on my desk.

I am someone who likes big folders (pocket swords) and I swap out between Spyderco and my CS Voyager about every 2 months or so.

Right now, the Spyderco Resilience is in my BOB, and I am carrying the SC Voyager Clip Point.

Both of these knives are great all-around carry knifes that you can keep in your Bug Out Bag or do what I do and swap out knives from time to time.

So right now, my Cold Steel Voyager XL is my EDC and Spyderco is in my bag. There will be a time that I will want to swap them out and probably want to start carrying that again and put the CS Voyager back in.

NOTE – What is great about the Spyderco knife is that you can do a red-neck fix on them by putting a zip tie on the ring and it allows the blade to be deployed as you are pulling it out of your pocket.

Because these knives are so large, you can also use them to chop and split wood, skin out an animal, but the biggest reason is that they make for excellent self-defense knife.

Because these blades are so large, I am able to “flick” them open with some practice, thus speeding up the deployment, and if you need your knife in a hurry, then this is a great thing to learn how to do.

Once you learn how to flick it open, it is a noise that people just know and raises the hair on the back of their necks.

Here is a video review that I did a while back on the Cold Steel Voyager Large and the XL knife.

Three Sources To Make Fire

Light and fire are a huge motivator. Just having a fire that can help keep you warm does wonders for the emotions and stress levels. This is why it is important to have multiple means to make fire in your Bug Out Bag.

First – Storm / Weather Proof Matches – these are a great thing to have. Small and compact. They also come in their own weather proof box that has a striker on the side.

Second – Swedish Army FireSteel 12,000 Strike Fire Starter – These are great to keep on your key ring or just about anywhere. The throw off 2,980-degree C spark in any weather, at any altitude. These are also approved by International Survival Instructors Association.

NOTE – if you take plain 100% cotton balls like they sell in the makeup section at Walmart and you get some petroleum jelly AKA Vaseline, melt the petroleum jelly and pour it over some cotton balls, stick them in a small plastic jar or bottle and you have instant fire starter that will burn for several minutes. One spark is all it takes to get a fire going using the Swedish Firesteel.

Finally – Bic Long Stem Lighters – HEY… keep it simple and just light a fire. This is why I like these. You can reach this into a fire kindle bundle and get the fire going. Add some of the fire starter you made with cotton balls and vasoline and presto … fire. No fancy Rambo stuff, just pull the trigger and light the fire.

Basics #6 – Personal Papers, Copies, Cash & Coins

It is a good idea to make copies of all your important documents like birth certificates, wedding certificates, and passport. It is also a good idea to make copies your driver’s license, social security card, and all your credit cards.

Take these along with say $100 in cash (small bills) as well as several ounces of silver and put all these into a vacuum seal bag.

If you do not have a FoodSaver vacuum sealer, then it is a very good investment. Not only can you seal food, make your own MREs and other things, it will also help protect you documents and such that you can then keep in your Bug Out Bag.

Get all these together and you then vacuum seal it all so that they are air tight and will last.

As always, I recommend getting your silver and other precious metals from Steve Quayle’s Renaissance Precious Metals. He makes it easy to purchase a few ounces just for a situation like this.

Renaissance Precious Metals –

Another good thing to put in your Bug Out Bag are family photos. You do not know what will happen in the future and if you are bugging out, there is a serious reason why. So like it or not, loved ones may or may have not made it through whatever might have taken place, so having a good number of family photos sealed up in your Bug Out Bag can be a very positive motivator.

Finally, I recommend Waterproof King James Bible.

This is a great bible. It is made in the USA with a 25% lighter weight paper

Extremely Durable Synthetic Pages Sewn and Glued into Spine

Stain Resistant

Ultra Clear Text

Ideal for Gear Bag or Backpack

Dry Highlight

Packing Your 72 Hour Bug Out Bag

You now have the basics. What you want to do is now pack your rucksack.

First thing is go purchase some heavy duty 55 gallon garbage bags. Pack several in the bottom of your rucksack. These make great ground cover, cut holes in them and they make great rain gear, etc.

Take another 55 gallon garbage bag and use that to store your clothes and other items in that need to stay dry.

If you want, use one bag for your clothes and another for your supplies and such. This way you can grab what bag you wish to use and keep the other packed away in the rucksack.

When packing your rucksack you want to put the lighter things towards the bottom that sit lower on your back and the heavier things towards the top of the rucksack.

This will help you if you are walking a really long distance. If you place the heavier things in the bottom of the rucksack, you will find that your lower back will get pretty sore and waist pad will start to push into your back. By placing the heavier items on top, your shoulder and the padded waist belt will help distribute that weight better.

Now if much of what you have weights about the same, then I recommend packing in regards to necessity.

I would put my sleeping gear and heavy clothes towards the bottom of the bag.

You will want to get to your food, water and first aid rather quickly, so I would pack those towards the top.

If you feel comfortable, strap your Tatang knife onto your left strap with some 550 Para cord. Make it tight and also tie it HANDLE UP.

I say handle up because that is one of those Hollywood things you see in the movies, the handle to the knife is facing down.

You would not believe how many knives have gotten lost because they just dropped out of the sheath.

Another point is that if you come across someone who wants to do you harm, having your handle down gives the attacker a tactical advantage. All they need to do is grab the handle, pull down and push into your abdomen.

By having your handle up, it will prevent you losing your knife.

The M-48 Tomahawk has straps so that you can strap it to the side of your rucksack if you wished. Personally, I would make it the first thing that I can reach for when I open my rucksack. It is a tool that you will use a lot for many situations. If you do store it on the outside of your rucksack, make sure that it is secured really well, you do not want to lose your M-48 Tomahawk.

The flap of your rucksack has a clear plastic covering that is secured with Velcro. This is a perfect place to keep a map as well as your photos and documents. This is also a pretty waterproof area in your rucksack. So keeping flat items like that in the flap will help protect them better. This also helps keep the flap of your rucksack somewhat “flat” when you close your rucksack.

55 Gallon Garbage Bags –

You now have a packed 72 hour Bug Out Bag that contains the basics. I recommend that you try it on, see how it feels and if you need to make adjustments to the bag, now is a good time to do it.

In upcoming articles we will discuss taking this bag to Foundation #3 and add items to it to make it a Get Out Of Dodge Bag – GOOD.

We will also follow that up with an article about testing your 72 Hour Bug Out Bag.

Remember, the key is to keep things light so that you can bug out quickly. You goal is just 72 hours, not spend the rest of your life living out of the bag.

The Powers That Be Have Pulled Gab AND… You Are Next

By Ray Gano

Folks this is serious our freedoms are being taken away at alarming rate. I don’t know if you know anything about Alex Jones or Infowars but they were the first ones to be taken down now today gab or has now been taken down.

Here is what is posted on the Gab Page….

Gab has spent the past 48 hours proudly working with the DOJ and FBI to bring justice to an alleged terrorist. Because of the data we provided, they now have plenty of evidence for their case. In the midst of this Gab has been no-platformed by essential internet infrastructure providers at every level. We are the most censored, smeared, and no-platformed startup in history, which means we are a threat to the media and to the Silicon Valley Oligarchy.

Gab isn’t going anywhere.

It doesn’t matter what you write. It doesn’t matter what the sophist talking heads say on TV. It doesn’t matter what verified nobodies say on Twitter. We have plenty of options, resources, and support. We will exercise every possible avenue to keep Gab online and defend free speech and individual liberty for all people.

You have all just made Gab a nationally recognized brand as the home of free speech online at a time when Silicon Valley is stifling political speech they disagree with to interfere in a US election.

The internet is not reality. TV is not reality. 80% of normal everyday people agree with Gab and support free expression and liberty. The online outrage mob and mainstream media spin machine are the minority opinion. People are waking up, so please keep pointing the finger at a social network instead of pointing the finger at the alleged shooter who holds sole responsibility for his actions.

No-platform us all you want. Ban us all you want. Smear us all you want.

You can’t stop an idea.

As we transition to a new hosting provider Gab will be inaccessible for a period of time. We are working around the clock to get back online. Thank you and remember to speak freely.

Andrew Torba, CEO

Do you know what “No – Platformed” means? It means the tech giants / powers that be decided that they do not want free speech unless THEY are the ones who control it. And since GAB is the freedom loving alternative to Twitter, “THEY” decided to bring it down.

What people need to understand is that our free speech is seriously under attack. In fact, more now today than any other time in history. More and more Christian conservatives are being shut down and prevented from expressing their views on the world. If they can do it to Alex Jones and Gab, then they can do it to us and they are.

In fact, they’ve already been doing it to Tracye and me. I’m constantly in Facebook jail, constantly being shadow banned on Twitter, my search engine results on Google are ridiculous and buried 7 pages down so nobody really even sees my articles, links or anything like that. So basically, Google has shadow banned me. This is what’s happening in our nation today. These tyrannical companies, if they don’t like what you’re saying they just kick you off.

So, what do you do? How do you fight back?

Last Days Warrior Webinar Summit

This is why Tracy and I created Last Days Warrior Summit. The summit’s theme is Patriots and prophecy and we have a great number of speakers talking on this theme.

We opened up our Last Days Warrior summit last Friday,(10-26-18) and the response is been very positive.

We have an incredible lineup of speakers and the videos that they have produced just for this summit are absolutely incredible.

But the one thing that we do see are some people having a hard time grasping what it is that we are actually doing.

What is Last Days Warrior Webinar Summit?

What we have going on here is a completely new idea. We have produced a totally online Internet based webinar / summit. That means when you gain access to the summit you’re given a login and a password and you’re able to go watch the teaching 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And the great thing is that we’re not taking these videos down. So, if you can’t afford it right now, then when you save up for it, know that it still going to be there when you can.

Now, I haven’t counted exactly how many hours we have in video, but I’m thinking that we have something around 28 hours of actual teaching if not more. And on top of that, we also have created MP3s of each session so that If you want to listen to the session again say as you’re working around the house, driving in your car, or on a walk or something you’re able to take the MP3s with you and continue listening to the summit sessions that you’re interested in.

Not only that we have created which we call the resource area and the speakers have been giving us articles e-books newsletters to post to the resource area is all extra added information that is available to the attendees included in the summit price.

Here is what some people are saying…

As someone who works to bring content to remnant believers, I am so excited about this new platform! What a great way to get information in front of those who desire to learn the truth about what is going on around us in the world today and what can we do about it from a biblical perspective. As mainstream media pushes leftist government agendas, those who see through it are left shaking their heads and wondering “now what”? Social media is censoring Christian and right winged content making it harder to find information that keeps to the cultures, laws, and values that have been our foundation in the West for decades. Having met some of the speakers myself while attending conferences in person, and following others in my own journey of truth, I can tell you that this lineup of speakers will empower you by giving you insight and perspective on what our Christian response should be and what action to take as our world prophetically turns upside down. An international, on-demand internet-based summit is easy, affordable and accessible to everyone. Great idea!!

Audrey V of Remnant Online

YES!!! This summit is a great idea. As a pastor I am asked often how a Christian can make a difference in today’s society. I think a summit like this is a fantastic tool and resource, and every zealous Christian should get involved and utilize this resource.

Sam G

I am so excited about this summit I am a history and prophecy geek. It is very nice to know I can watch this from wherever and whenever since it is hard to travel. We have an amazing line up of speakers who are speaking on the NOW! Thank you for this because we live in perilous times I am heeding these warnings! I hope many hear these messages! God bless! Jesus is on His way!

Kris R

Christ tells us to “Go ye therefore” and to “Go to the entire world.”

Well, with the Last Days Warrior Summit, we have been able to do just that.  We now have people watching our summit videos from Singapore, Australia, Canada, Italy and South Africa. All of these people from other countries have gained access to the Last Days Warrior Summit.

If they would have come to a conference they would have had to pay for airlines, a hotel, rental car (if they wanted to get around) restaurants, as well as tickets to the event and other little expenses here and there.

But because we are totally online and video on demand, people all over the world can watch us when they want, or when they have the time.

Folks, we need to educate ourselves as to what is going on and what we can do about it.

Here are some of the topics the speakers are talking about…

Jamie Walden – Warrior Up And Get InThe Fight!

Zev Porat – The testimony of an orthodox rabbi coming to know Jesus / Yeshua

Gary Kah – The One World New Age Movement & God’s Not Finished with the Jewish People

Laura Maxwell – Globally Enforced Luciferian Oath Approaching: Quotes and Other Evidence

Go to the Last Days Warrior website and look at all the topics that are being taught on.

But me and Tracye are not stopping here. We are going to be producing more and more of these next year.
