I have it, it just hasn’t arrived yet

I Have IT, IT Just Hasn’t Arrived Yet

I have it, it just hasn’t arrived yetI had a very interesting thought while reading “You’re a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero.

The premise of the book is that we are born to greatness, but 95% of the population just does not realize it, therefore does not act on it.

There are other things that she talks about too that really helps the mindset of the entrepreneur. But the interesting thing that popped into my head is the following… “ I have it, it just has not arrived yet.”

Why this popped into my head is that at this moment I have $48.00 in my bank account, but I have an invoice sitting out there that I am waiting for it to be paid. I know that the person is going to pay it because they are good for it. So, I have the $$, it just has not arrived yet.

When I said that to myself, it is like a light bulb went off in my head.

In reading many of these motivational books they are talking about putting yourself into an opportunity mindset, in other words always looking for that opportunity that will help give you the desires of your heart.

What are my desires?

To be honest, to help people.

Be it live a better healthier life by learning the ketogenic diet, or being better prepared for that SHTF situation, to how to wear a kilt in everyday public. There are other things, but I truly want to help people rise-up out of the ashes that life has put them in.

To me that is success in life, how I impacted my world around me for the better and how I was able to enrich other people’s lives.

For example, I run a ketogenic diet group called “Learning The Keto Way For Beginners.” I have over 4550+ members that I have been helping lose weight and learn to live a healthier life.

I have been living a low carb / keto life now for over 10 years and I have taken classes to better my knowledge so that I can help people.

If you would like to learn more about the ketogenic diet, check out my group at…

We are coming into the holidays; it is a popular time to start ramping up on getting healthy and losing those holiday pounds.

Here is another great example of “I have it, it just has not arrived yet” mentality.

I need to lose 15 lbs.

Can I do it?

Heck yeah.

You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth by Jen SinceroHave I done it yet? … Nope, but I know that I will do it and that I already own this statement of losing 15 lbs., this fact just has not arrived yet.

There are many things that you can apply this statement to, but it just has not come about yet.

Your desires are endless, but the key is not greed, but gratefulness.  Being grateful that you will get the desires of your heart is a wonderful thing, the key is working for it, turning over every stone to find it, and doing your all so that your desires will drop into your lap.

That is why telling yourself “I have it,… it just has not arrived yet” is a very powerful statement.

When your brain knows that you have it already, there is something that takes place and your brain finds the way to make that desire a reality.

So, when you “have it” but… “it just has not arrived yet” your brain works to ensure that what you “have” does “arrive” so that you can gain possession of that desire.

Give this a try and let me know how this little statement helps you conquer your day and bring your desires one step closer than where you were yesterday.

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?One of my mentors asked me this thought-provoking question and it really threw me for a loop.

I mean, look at how many “Friends” I have on Facebook. (4525+)

Look at how many people are in my Real Men Wear Kilts group (4775+)

And look how many people are in my Learning The Keto Way group (4570+)

But the question that I have for myself is how much of an impact do I have on these people?

What am I doing to help improve their lives and / or am I doing anything at all?

How this conversation came up is when I was asked “how successful are you?”

Money? … bleh

Stuff? … again bleh

But when he asked, “what is your positive impact on others and how many do you help?”  that kind of hit me in the gut.

I honestly could not answer his question.

You look at my Facebook, You Tube, ect and I have some good numbers, but am I truly helping people?

It hit me that I could not answer his question.

I think I am helping folks, but with my change in life and such, I am not sure if I am helping anyone at all.

I continue to write, and I try to bring value to the world, but how much of what I bring is value?

That is a tough one to answer.

People like my articles, my memes that I post and some news pieces that I share.

The folks in my kilt group always say how much they love the group because I create a very positive environment and they love the interaction that takes place.

The folks in my keto group like it that I help them, and they are seeing success in their weight loss journey.

So, I guess I am helping people, but am I creating an impact in their lives?

How many people are better because I came into their lives?

You know, I don’t know.

I hope that I have been a positive influence and had an impact on their lives, but I am not totally sure.

Maybe those of you who are reading this can help me answer this question. How much of a positive impact have I had on your life?

Now I want to ask you the same thing that my mentor asked me, how much of a positive impact do you have on those around you and the world you live in?

See, it is a tough question when you really sit down and think about it.

Me, I figure that I have some impact on people for the mere fact that I have 4500+ people. BUT that in and of itself could be misleading. Just because I have that many friends and such in my groups does not mean I have a personal impact on their lives.

I hope that I do, but I don’t really know.

That is my personal challenge for the next week or so, to see how much of a positive impact I have on people in the world I live in.

I would like to challenge you to the same thing. Learn how much of an impact YOU have on your world.

It is truly one of the major benchmarks to see how successful you are in life.

Cheers!

You Can’t Do That…

As many of you know, I am starting life over again… at age 58.

Seems pretty wild to be doing this at my age, but then again, why not now?

I have been locked into a marriage that I was not happy in for a very long time and I finally said, “no more” and pulled the rip cord.

What some of you may or may not know is that in my other life, I was a popular blogger in the arena that I chose to write in. I have a lot of You Tube videos, podcasts and articles. I used to make really good money at it too. But that was then, and this is now.

What is strange about the now is that I have a number of people telling me.. “oh you can’t do that again.”   You are to old, you lost all your readers, your website, no one wants to hear from you anymore and you are just a pariah.

Yeah… and?

Thing about work is it is just that, work. When you work for yourself you have to have discipline, get up every day and put that nose to the grindstone. If you don’t, you don’t make your bills and not making your bills in “No Bueno.” (“No good” in Spanish)

I ask myself, WHY can’t I do that again?

I have been blogging now since 2005 and if I have been doing it this long, I guess I know what I am doing to survive this long working the internet.

The key is getting your rear end up and out of bed and starting the day off productively.

In some of my articles you know that I have a morning routine called “Core 4.”

What this entails is 4 – 15-minute blocks focusing on Body, Being, Balance, & Business.

For 15 minutes I focus on my body and do a short work out and drink a bullet proof coffee.

I then do a 10 minutes in a guided meditation using a GREAT website called “Headspace” – http://headspace.com and then spend 5 minutes writing in my journal. Today, I am writing this because that is what popped into my mind to “journal” about.

Then I take time to listen to a motivational podcast or video, this covers my business and finally, I spend 15 minutes sending out words of affirmation to many of the people I care about and love.

In taking the time to do this for myself, I am powered up to start attacking the day and making the most of what I can make of it. It truly is an amazing feeling to accomplish so much in just one hour. This accomplishment seems to give you power to then push through and attack the rest of your day.

I truly enjoy doing my Core 4 and days that I am not able to get to it early in the morning, I find that my efforts are lack luster. I am still doing what I need to do, but there is this energy that I am missing.

SO… Can I Do It?

Heck yeah!

I can do anything that I put the most powerful machine in the universe into action, that is my mind. By starting my day off on the right foot, doing my C4 and having a great attitude, I can pretty much do anything I put my mind to and achieve a victory even when possibly I do not finish what I started that day, I will get up tomorrow and continue to work and push hard at what I need to do so that I can get it done and show those around me that you can’t keep a good man down.

I can do this, I can recreate what I have lost and I will show all those who say I can’t, that I will in fact do it and do it even better.

If you have any questions about my morning routine, please feel free to contact me at ray.gano@raygano.com

Cheers!
