FACT: 98% of all Zombies Wear Long Sleeves – The Goal of Finding the 2%

I was watching my favorite Sunday night zombie show and something struck me as I was watching these walking dead.

What was it you ask?

All the zombies I saw were wearing long sleeves shirts, jackets, sweaters, etc. I did not notice any short-sleeved zombies.

After binge watching some of the older shows I started looking specifically for zombies in short sleeve shirts.

Even in some of the zombie hordes all the zombies were wearing some sort of long sleeves.

I became so obsessed with this that even my lovely lady googled it and found out that 98% of all the zombies wear long sleeves because it means less time in the make-up chair and quicker wardrobe changes for the extras.

Now the next amazing thing is that not 60 minutes later, both of us spotted a zombie wearing short sleeves. In fact, it was my lovely lady that spotted it first.

Why is this?

Because both of our brains were keyed into finding that 2%er zombie who was wearing that short sleeve shirt. AND… because we were keyed in on that fact, our brains / subconscious was on high alert looking for / seeking out short sleeved zombies.

Once the short sleeved zombie was spotted, the subconscious sent a message to the conscious and boom… we (my lovely lady) spotted the short sleeved zombie, which was pinned down under a car and one of the hero’s proceeded to stab it in the head thus killing the brain.

But I digress…

What does this have to do with life lessons?

Opportunity is a lot like short sleeved zombies.

Odds are that these short sleeved zombies were popping up in the show, but we never noticed them, that is till we started looking for them. And once we started looking, we started to pay more attention and finally one showed up. In fact, it was so fast that we probably would have missed the short-sleeved zombie if we were not looking for it.

All the zombies I saw were wearing long sleeves shirts, jackets, sweaters, etc. I did not notice any short-sleeved zombies. Even in some of the zombie hordes all the zombies were wearing some sort of long sleeves.

I share all this because opportunity works the same way. When you give your brain that  problem to solve (seeking an opportunity) Your brain, with a little help from the universe, that will help you find it.

In fact, the universe has probably presented you many opportunities, much like the show has presented us short sleeved zombies.  You just don’t see them till you are really looking and homed in on finding them.

Where once opportunities / short sleeve zombies were somewhat invisible to you, opportunities are presenting themselves in many different places.

BUT… if you are not looking or in that heightened state of awareness, many opportunities will come, be put right in front of your nose and believe it or not, you will not see them at all.

This is how you brain works and that is how me and my lovely lady spotted the short-sleeved zombie. Our brains were tuned into short sleeved zombies and when it presented itself, we spotted it right away.

Now here is the funny thing, we now are looking for more short sleeved zombies. They are out there, we just have to be aware of them and when they present themselves, we will see them clear as day.

Great opportunities / solutions to problems are out there. What one has to do is decide that they want to find them. Think about that opportunity / solution.

Are you looking for a great side hustle to bring in some extra cash?

Maybe you are looking for that next cake recipe that will win you that blue ribbon at the fair.

Maybe you are looking for that incredible apartment by the coast at a rock bottom price.

All of these and more are out there and believe it or not the universe wants to give these things to you, and often it will.

But because we are not LOOKING for that opportunity / solution, we never see the blessings that the universe wants to bestow upon us.

What we need to do is put our brains to work about finding that opportunity / solution and you will be amazed how fast your brain will present you the solution it has found.

The universe is quick to provide, trust me.

We are just to slow to realize it, kind of like making the observation that 98% of all zombies wear some sort of long sleeves and only 2% don’t.

Here is my challenge to you… hunt down that 2%. Focus hard on it and think about it all the time and the universe will present it to you. You just have to be ready to spot it when it does.

Just like the short-sleeved zombie that are the 2%. They are now easy to spot now that we are looking out for them.

Do me a favor and let me know what opportunities / solutions you are looking for.

OR… have you had the universe bless you and present great opportunities / solutions to you and what were they?

Cheers!

Be Prepared

when you see that bad ass dude / dudette who can kill zombies like no tomorrow, your personal observation and modeling yourself after that person’s positive example will help us reach new heights. We’re not just talking about killing zombies either, this will apply to everything we do in life.

You Become Who You Hang With… Even During The Zombie Apocalypse

Jim Rohn said, “You will become the combined average of the five people you hang around the most. You will have their combined attitude, health and income.”

If we want to get further in our life personally and professionally, we must associate ourselves with people who will be a positive influence on our lives.

That is unless you are living in the Zombie Apocalypse and if that is the case, you want to hang with a solid upstanding person who is a real bad ass zombie killer who happens to have a lot of guns, bullets and some nice samurai swords help as well.

Why do we want to hang out with people who are better than we are?

When we associate with others who have a greater skill set or have achieved more, we are challenged. This in turn brings out the best in us and inspires us to do better.

So, when you see that bad ass dude / dudette who can kill zombies like no tomorrow, your personal observation and modeling yourself after that person’s positive example will help us reach new heights. We’re not just talking about killing zombies either, this will apply to everything we do in life.

when you see that bad ass dude / dudette who can kill zombies like no tomorrow, your personal observation and modeling yourself after that person’s positive example will help us reach new heights. We’re not just talking about killing zombies either, this will apply to everything we do in life.

I don’t know why the universe shows favor upon us when we surrounded ourselves with optimistic and uplifting people, but when we do it has a direct cause and effect on our demeanor, confidence level and performance.

So, if you are hanging out with an incredible zombie killer, then you will also improve when it comes to killing off zombies.

You want to see yourself do better in business? Associate yourself with people who are doing an incredible job at what you would like to do, and you will see yourself grow.

Sports?… same thing. Hang out with winners and you will gain that winning spirit.

You are who you hang out with.

“But Ray, how do I become like Robert Kiosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad), Tony Robbins (Unleash The Power Within), Jen Sincero (You are a Bad Ass), or Dean Graziosi (millionaire Success Habits) when I can’t even get near these people?”

Simple… read their books, listen to their audio books, watch their You Tube videos, read their blog posts from their websites.

The more that you are able to fill your brain with their knowledge, the more you will start emulating their ideas.

.

How To Get Started With Your Zombie Killer Badass List

How many people do you know that you would like to emulate?

What I want you to do is take about 10 minutes and think about ALL the people that you can think of that you want to be like.

I am not talking just about celebrity authors or such, think about people in your life that you look up to at work, at church, at the club, etc.

NOW… this is very important, who of these people tend to be negative, brash, un-giving and un-grateful?

If you can ID some of those people and they are on your list, strike them from your list ASAP. These are the sort of people who will throw you to the zombies just to save their own backside.

In other words you do not want negative people in your life. If they are negative, they will bring you down and plant seeds of negativity in your mind.

What you need to understand is that the universe wants you to win and win big. But you have to have a positive outlook and hang out with the right people. Just doing these two things will have such an impact on your life that once you do, you will look back at yourself and be astonished at the distance you have traveled.

Remember, you want to be one of the bad ass zombie killers, but you will need to hang out with these sorts of people if you are to become one. That or take the long road and kill a couple thousand zombies and live to tell the tale.

Impossible?

Well, no…but  the odds are a heck of a lot better of you becoming part of the undead mob verses learning the ropes from a seasoned zombie killer.

Me, I would rather find someone to emulate first before taking on some zombie horde.

Take my advice, you need to start writing down those names of people who you wish to be like and start kicking that zombie behind.

When you have that list, share with me one or two people from your list and tell me why you chose them.

Keep those swords sharp!

Cheers!

Being helps you to be in the here and now. By being present, by noticing what you do have and you stopping to acknowledge it.

Being Grateful Till The End of The Year

Being helps you to be in the here and now. By being present, by noticing what you do have and you stopping to acknowledge it.Some of you know that I belong to an accountability group that we call “Warrior.” I have about 20+ guys that are in this group and we tell it like it is. If someone spots that we are slacking or such, then someone will usually call that person on the carpet and make them spill the beans and get real.

Today one of our members proposed a challenge that I thought was very worth while and something that I am going to push myself to do.

What is the challenge?

To post something that we are grateful for every day till the end of the year.

It sounds easy, but it takes discipline to do something every day when it is not part of your normal routine.

How do you combat this?

You make it part of your daily routine.

I have been reading Millionaire Success Habits: The Gateway to Wealth & Prosperity by Dean Graziosi and in it he talks about having an attitude of gratitude. It is one of the successful habits that the wealthy have.

Now normally I am a pretty disciplined person, I have had to become one if I was going to work from home.

What is hard is adding to one’s daily routine. It sounds easy, but it is more difficult than one would think.

The good thing is that I do have a great morning routine that I do called “Core 4” where I spend an hour first thing in the morning just for me and my own personal improvement.

I have two areas one is BEING and the other BALANCE.

With BEING I am taking time to talk to God, meditate, journal ect

With BALANCE I am taking time for those I love and care, in that I try to bring loving value into their day. I might send a text, a private message or leave a post it note for them to find.

It is one of these two areas that I will add my “attitude for gratitude” exercise and it is my hope that in doing this for 30+ days, it will become habit and I will carry it over into the new year.

What am I grateful for today?

I am grateful for all the wonderful people in my life who support and stand beside me.

I am thankful to God for allowing such good people in my life. They look out for me, encourage me and even kick me in the rear when I need it… and at times I need it too.

So now I have put a plan in place and every day when I do my Core 4 I will add to it my attitude for gratitude. In doing it this way, I should be able to maintain this till the end of the year with the hopes that I will continue it into the next year.

I know that some of you are out there asking, “Why is it important to be grateful?”

Believe it or not, there are some real benefits for being grateful…

The Benefits To Being Grateful

1 – It helps you to be in the here and now. By being present, by noticing what you do have and you stopping to acknowledge it. Stop and smell the roses and count your blessings. You can be grateful for the person you are with at that moment, having a roof over your head, having food to eat, even taking that last breath that you just took. Stop in the here and now and be grateful for just a moment.  Believe me it is easier said than done.

2 – Being grateful has the power to change your mood almost instantly from a negative outlook to positive outlook. Good feelings and a positive attitude arise when you start acknowledging what you are grateful for.

3 – Being grateful and verbalizing it wakes up the universe and the universe wants to see you succeed. Quantum physics applied to a positive thinking state show that the “ripples / vibrations” your thoughts make affect and modify the reality around you.

Example – you want to be happy? Start saying / thinking happy things about yourself and your environment. Soon you will see that you are happy and you are enjoying your environment. In fact, you will have an abundance of happiness because when you do this, the universe wants to step up and help you make that so.

It is said that the first seventeen seconds of any thought are the most powerful, and they create enough energy to start attracting what you are thinking of into your life.

What you do not want to do is think in the negative, but be grateful, thankful and appreciate what God has given you in mind, body, soul and spirit.

I challenge you to accept my attitude of gratitude 30+ day challenge and see how these next 30+ days will change your life for the better.

On New Years Day, I will come back to this and share how my life has changed and I would like to hear how your life has changed as well.

Cheers!

Allow Your Efforts To Compound – Tomatoes Don’t Grow in a Week There are times that I forget this and what I need to remember is that it took a lifetime to get where I am, where things were so messed up. That I need to remember that I need to give myself time to get out of the crap that I have allowed myself to sink too. If you are like me and are trying to improve yourself, one of the things that we tend to do is be impatient with ourselves because we are not where we want to be.

If you are like me and are trying to improve yourself, one of the things that we tend to do is be impatient with ourselves because we are not where we want to be.There are times that I forget this and what I need to remember is that it took a lifetime to get where I am, where things were so messed up. I need to remember that I need to give myself time to get out of the muck and mire that I have allowed myself to sink too.

If you are like me and are trying to improve yourself, one of the things that we tend to do is be impatient with ourselves because we are not where we want to be.

“Well… there is no where else to go but up.”

This is true, but the journey “up” may take some time. But the one thing we can do is try to shrink that time so that we can “get there” faster.

How we do this is by putting our nose to the grindstone, working and allowing our efforts to compound.

I tell a lot of people that the fastest way to get there is by baby steps.

So how do we start?

Here are 6 tips that will help you get where you are going faster and cheat the space time continuum that many of us seem to be locked into…

1 – Stop blaming others, you are where you are because of YOU. The faster you can accept this, the sooner you are able to start moving forward. NOTHING can hold YOU back, so stop blaming others about where you are in life and start taking control.

2 – This is a Biggie…Stop Procrastinating. We all have this problem and when you are in the ashes of life and trying to be the phoenix that will rise, telling ourselves we will start tomorrow, or next Monday or whatever… you will never get started. DO IT NOW! Just get the job done.

3 – You can’t do it alone. As much as we think we can, we can’t. When you have others helping you, you cut down that time to grow tomatoes / get to where you want to be in life.  You need others around you who care about you, your well being and your journey. Friends, family and mentors are what you need, and you only need a few good chosen people that make up your core relationships. Add to many and you “muddy” the waters and will not get anything done. Me… I have my lovely lady, my parents and a 2-3 friends that I have known forever. I also have a group of men that we help each other and leverage each other’s wisdom and also kick each other in the pants when we need it.

4 – Make time for you first thing every day. When you look at successful people just about all of them have some sort of morning routine. Tony Robbins, Arianna Huffington, and the person who has influenced me, Garret J White. He introduced me to what is called “Core 4.” What this entails is me getting up every day and spending about an hour for me. 15 minutes on my body, 15 minutes meditating / journaling, 15 minutes on business / self-improvement and 15 minutes on relationships. I do this every day and when I get all of it done, I have the power and energy to take on the world. A lot of life’s stresses and such are gone, and I can see the world clearly and attack what I need to attack and get the job done. If you are not going to take care of self, you will never rise from the ashes and or grow tomatoes.

5 – Keep a To-Do List / Write Things Down… This one helps me a lot. WHY? Because when I write things down, I do not have to waste brain power to remember all these little things that need to get done or I need to remember. I keep an 8×10 yellow note pad by my desk and I write down everything. When I get things done or finished, I will scratch them off. About every other day I rip off the paper and put at the top the things I did not get done and work on getting them done.

OH… another thing I use is Alexa for my grocery / shopping list as well as specialized lists that I have created. This way my lovely lady can also keep an eye on things I am doing and help me accomplish tasks or get things at the grocery store. You got to love Alexa. If you have her, leverage her, she does help you stream line things in life.

6 – Finally… Make goals in life. 5 yr, 1 yr,6 month, 3 month, 1 month, weekly and daily goals. You want dreams to come true? Write them down and then figure out how to make those dreams into reality. If you don’t write them down, then all they remain are just that… dreams. There is power in writing down what you want out of life and when you do, your brain works at making those thoughts and dreams into real world realities.

OH… and one last thing, here is an added bonus for those of you who have read this far, kudos to you!

7 – Stop and have fun. What good is all the hard work you are doing to make a better life if you are not stopping to enjoy your efforts? Stop and have fun with those who are special around you. They helped you get where you are, spend time and make memories with those people. One of the best ways is going out and having some fun.

I hope that this article brings value into your life.

Please do me a favor and comment on Facebook or wherever you saw this posted. It is important to me to know that I am bringing value into other people’s lives and giving them food for thought as they see me rise from in my own personal journey of rising up like the phoenix from the ashes… or growing tomatoes for the long term.

Cheers!

I am the phoenix rising from the ashes. The only one that can do this is me, and it takes mental power to do this. Yes, one can have people helping you, encouraging you, offering you a hand up. But it is YOU who must accept that help, accept that encouragement and accept that hand up.

Reading Will Change Your Life

I am the phoenix rising from the ashes. The only one that can do this is me, and it takes mental power to do this. Yes, one can have people helping you, encouraging you, offering you a hand up. But it is YOU who must accept that help, accept that encouragement and accept that hand up.I am the phoenix rising from the ashes. The only one that can do this, is me and it takes mental power to do this. Yes, one can have people helping you, encouraging you, offering you a hand up. But it is YOU who must accept that help, accept that encouragement and accept that hand up.

No one is going to do it for you, you must do it yourself. YOU must stand up out of the ashes and RISE.

One of the ways you can do this is by reading. In this fast-paced day of digital bits and bytes, reading a book seems so antiquated. But it is the best thing that you can do for yourself.

There is an old computer saying… Garbage In… Garbage Out. In the computer world it is known as GIGO.

What happens when you put good stuff in? Well you get good stuff out.

This is why reading a book will improve your life faster than just about anything else out there.

You want to see change in yourself? Read a book.

Have some area in your life that is lacking? Then find books that can help you with that area of your life and start reading.

This is what I have been doing (forcing myself) to start reading again. I don’t know what happened, but I used to read at least one book a week. I have not done that in a long time.

So, guess what? I am starting that back up again.

There is one book in particular that I have found to be one of the best investments I’ve ever made for myself. It is called “Be a Bad Ass at Making Money – By Jen Sincero.

In fact, you can go on Amazon right now you can get “You Are A Bad Ass” and You Are a Bad Ass at Making Money” at a great price for around $18 or so.

Get her books here – https://amzn.to/2rj2y3L

I love how her book has drastically changed / impacted my mindset around making money, my life and my business.

What has happened over the years is that I have developed a toxic mindset that was focused more on fear than winning. In reading a few of the books that I have been reading, I realize that I MUST change my mindset. I MUST change that little voice in my head from a loser / fearful voice to that of a conquering / winning voice.

AND… the best way to do that is by reading positive and motivational books that fill my brain with good instead of negative.

What I have forgotten is how powerful the brain can be.

Do you know that you can accomplish just about anything you put your mind to? This is a fact. The key is that you must want it bad enough and be willing to work your backside off.

So what is it that I want again?

1 – To Win… win for me, win for my wife (soon to be) and win for my family!

2 – Show the world that I can and will rise from the ashes and I will win!

3 – Ensure that I have a legacy to leave behind that will enrich the world even when I am gone.

So how will I do this?

By reading books that will help change my toxic mindset and turn it around to focus on winning people / money-attracting mindset.

It’s so possible and when you are in this “winning mindset” it feels amazing.

Right about now you are asking… “OK… what books are you reading right now?”

Thrive – Arinanna Huffington

You’re A Bad Ass & You Are A Bad Ass at Making Money – Jen Sincero

DOT Com Secrets – Russell Brunson

The Science of Getting Rich – Wallace D. Wattles

Millionaire Success Habits: The Gateway to Wealth & Prosperity – Dean Graziosi

I have linked these in from my Amazon store so that if you want to change your mindset, you can do that and by buying them from me, I can earn a few pennies as well.

All these books have been instrumental in changing that voice inside my head from the negative into the positive.

Again, only I can cause myself to stand up and rise up out of the ashes so I need the mental power to do that and make those changes in my life that will count and help me achieve the goals that are the desires of my heart.

If you have some great books that you have read, please share them with me, I would like to check them out. As time progresses, I will continue to share other books that I am reading and making a difference in my life.

If you have any questions or comments, contact me so I can hear from you.

Cheers!

I have it, it just hasn’t arrived yet

I Have IT, IT Just Hasn’t Arrived Yet

I have it, it just hasn’t arrived yetI had a very interesting thought while reading “You’re a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero.

The premise of the book is that we are born to greatness, but 95% of the population just does not realize it, therefore does not act on it.

There are other things that she talks about too that really helps the mindset of the entrepreneur. But the interesting thing that popped into my head is the following… “ I have it, it just has not arrived yet.”

Why this popped into my head is that at this moment I have $48.00 in my bank account, but I have an invoice sitting out there that I am waiting for it to be paid. I know that the person is going to pay it because they are good for it. So, I have the $$, it just has not arrived yet.

When I said that to myself, it is like a light bulb went off in my head.

In reading many of these motivational books they are talking about putting yourself into an opportunity mindset, in other words always looking for that opportunity that will help give you the desires of your heart.

What are my desires?

To be honest, to help people.

Be it live a better healthier life by learning the ketogenic diet, or being better prepared for that SHTF situation, to how to wear a kilt in everyday public. There are other things, but I truly want to help people rise-up out of the ashes that life has put them in.

To me that is success in life, how I impacted my world around me for the better and how I was able to enrich other people’s lives.

For example, I run a ketogenic diet group called “Learning The Keto Way For Beginners.” I have over 4550+ members that I have been helping lose weight and learn to live a healthier life.

I have been living a low carb / keto life now for over 10 years and I have taken classes to better my knowledge so that I can help people.

If you would like to learn more about the ketogenic diet, check out my group at…

https://www.facebook.com/groups/learningtheketoway

We are coming into the holidays; it is a popular time to start ramping up on getting healthy and losing those holiday pounds.

Here is another great example of “I have it, it just has not arrived yet” mentality.

I need to lose 15 lbs.

Can I do it?

Heck yeah.

You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth by Jen SinceroHave I done it yet? … Nope, but I know that I will do it and that I already own this statement of losing 15 lbs., this fact just has not arrived yet.

There are many things that you can apply this statement to, but it just has not come about yet.

Your desires are endless, but the key is not greed, but gratefulness.  Being grateful that you will get the desires of your heart is a wonderful thing, the key is working for it, turning over every stone to find it, and doing your all so that your desires will drop into your lap.

That is why telling yourself “I have it,… it just has not arrived yet” is a very powerful statement.

When your brain knows that you have it already, there is something that takes place and your brain finds the way to make that desire a reality.

So, when you “have it” but… “it just has not arrived yet” your brain works to ensure that what you “have” does “arrive” so that you can gain possession of that desire.

Give this a try and let me know how this little statement helps you conquer your day and bring your desires one step closer than where you were yesterday.

OH… if you are interested in reading “You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth” by Jen Sincero, you can help me earn a few pennies by buying it here…https://amzn.to/2XyUjwg

I hope you have a great day… Thanks & Cheers!

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?

What Positive Impact Do YOU Have on The World Around You?One of my mentors asked me this thought-provoking question and it really threw me for a loop.

I mean, look at how many “Friends” I have on Facebook. (4525+)

Look at how many people are in my Real Men Wear Kilts group (4775+)

And look how many people are in my Learning The Keto Way group (4570+)

But the question that I have for myself is how much of an impact do I have on these people?

What am I doing to help improve their lives and / or am I doing anything at all?

How this conversation came up is when I was asked “how successful are you?”

Money? … bleh

Stuff? … again bleh

But when he asked, “what is your positive impact on others and how many do you help?”  that kind of hit me in the gut.

I honestly could not answer his question.

You look at my Facebook, You Tube, ect and I have some good numbers, but am I truly helping people?

It hit me that I could not answer his question.

I think I am helping folks, but with my change in life and such, I am not sure if I am helping anyone at all.

I continue to write, and I try to bring value to the world, but how much of what I bring is value?

That is a tough one to answer.

People like my articles, my memes that I post and some news pieces that I share.

The folks in my kilt group always say how much they love the group because I create a very positive environment and they love the interaction that takes place.

The folks in my keto group like it that I help them, and they are seeing success in their weight loss journey.

So, I guess I am helping people, but am I creating an impact in their lives?

How many people are better because I came into their lives?

You know, I don’t know.

I hope that I have been a positive influence and had an impact on their lives, but I am not totally sure.

Maybe those of you who are reading this can help me answer this question. How much of a positive impact have I had on your life?

Now I want to ask you the same thing that my mentor asked me, how much of a positive impact do you have on those around you and the world you live in?

See, it is a tough question when you really sit down and think about it.

Me, I figure that I have some impact on people for the mere fact that I have 4500+ people. BUT that in and of itself could be misleading. Just because I have that many friends and such in my groups does not mean I have a personal impact on their lives.

I hope that I do, but I don’t really know.

That is my personal challenge for the next week or so, to see how much of a positive impact I have on people in the world I live in.

I would like to challenge you to the same thing. Learn how much of an impact YOU have on your world.

It is truly one of the major benchmarks to see how successful you are in life.

Cheers!

You Can’t Do That…

As many of you know, I am starting life over again… at age 58.

Seems pretty wild to be doing this at my age, but then again, why not now?

I have been locked into a marriage that I was not happy in for a very long time and I finally said, “no more” and pulled the rip cord.

What some of you may or may not know is that in my other life, I was a popular blogger in the arena that I chose to write in. I have a lot of You Tube videos, podcasts and articles. I used to make really good money at it too. But that was then, and this is now.

What is strange about the now is that I have a number of people telling me.. “oh you can’t do that again.”   You are to old, you lost all your readers, your website, no one wants to hear from you anymore and you are just a pariah.

Yeah… and?

Thing about work is it is just that, work. When you work for yourself you have to have discipline, get up every day and put that nose to the grindstone. If you don’t, you don’t make your bills and not making your bills in “No Bueno.” (“No good” in Spanish)

I ask myself, WHY can’t I do that again?

I have been blogging now since 2005 and if I have been doing it this long, I guess I know what I am doing to survive this long working the internet.

The key is getting your rear end up and out of bed and starting the day off productively.

In some of my articles you know that I have a morning routine called “Core 4.”

What this entails is 4 – 15-minute blocks focusing on Body, Being, Balance, & Business.

For 15 minutes I focus on my body and do a short work out and drink a bullet proof coffee.

I then do a 10 minutes in a guided meditation using a GREAT website called “Headspace” – http://headspace.com and then spend 5 minutes writing in my journal. Today, I am writing this because that is what popped into my mind to “journal” about.

Then I take time to listen to a motivational podcast or video, this covers my business and finally, I spend 15 minutes sending out words of affirmation to many of the people I care about and love.

In taking the time to do this for myself, I am powered up to start attacking the day and making the most of what I can make of it. It truly is an amazing feeling to accomplish so much in just one hour. This accomplishment seems to give you power to then push through and attack the rest of your day.

I truly enjoy doing my Core 4 and days that I am not able to get to it early in the morning, I find that my efforts are lack luster. I am still doing what I need to do, but there is this energy that I am missing.

SO… Can I Do It?

Heck yeah!

I can do anything that I put the most powerful machine in the universe into action, that is my mind. By starting my day off on the right foot, doing my C4 and having a great attitude, I can pretty much do anything I put my mind to and achieve a victory even when possibly I do not finish what I started that day, I will get up tomorrow and continue to work and push hard at what I need to do so that I can get it done and show those around me that you can’t keep a good man down.

I can do this, I can recreate what I have lost and I will show all those who say I can’t, that I will in fact do it and do it even better.
