The Walking Dead – They Can’t Shoot Worth A Darn – A Prepper’s Observation

If you have been reading some of my past musings you know that have been indulging in a show called The Walking Dead.

One has to love Netflix vs Amazon. Amazon wants to charge you for all the series, where Netflix, they are all free up to season 9. FYI… the current season is season 10 so you are good to go.

If you have been with me for a few years, you know that I am also a prepper and write a lot about weapons, knives and guns.

One of the things that I pride myself on is that I am a pretty decent shot and retain muscle memory pretty well. My knife work is ok, and I have to admit it is a wee bit rusty, but I will still do a quick flick open my knife several times a day as well as a one handed close… but I digress.

I have been watching season eight and going into season nine where we are dealing with Negan and his crew of bad boys. When ever there is a run in, there is a lot of shooting taking place.

In fact, Rick even plans a big ol drive up and ambush the “saviors” with a huge gun battle.

You know, there are a lot of bullets flying around but no body is getting hit.

What the heck?

Think about it for a moment. Everyone on planet earth is either trying to survive the apocalypse or walking around as the living dead. If one is part of the first group, well I would think that picking off zombies would make you a pretty good shot, at least by season 9 for goodness sake.

But I can’t believe that …

1 – no one is hitting anyone

2 – reloading… with all those bullets, no one is reloading

3 – pray and spray… with bullets at a premium during the apocalypse you would think that one shot one kill would be in play, but nope… spray and pray.

I mean this is almost like watching the very first Star Wars movie where every single stormtrooper shooting at Han, Luke and Princess Lea could at least shoot. But nope, spray and pray, even in the future of space travel and heavy breathing villains no one can fire a blaster worth a darn.

NOW… here is another observation.

When Rick and crew are out in the woods and running across the zombies, well dog gone it, they can pop those guys right in the ol’ head and knock them clean out of the game.

SO… if they can do a “one shot one kill” with the zombies, why is it that they can’t hit some bad guy to literally save their life?

I challenge you to watch this and see if you are seeing the same thing that I am.

Put a zombie out there and everyone is shooting like Jesse James, but heaven forbid a whole slew of people with machine guns all firing at Negan who only has his trusted baseball bat Lucile and not one person… including Rick, can’t even hit this guy and he is what, maybe 50 yards at least from all of them?

You watch for yourself and let me know…

Here is another vid of a shootout from another angle –

Ok, not really a TWD shootout, but a great shoot-out nevertheless.

So, what is your take?

Why is it that in one minute all these guys are gun slingers that can shoot a fly in the middle of a zombie head and the next minute can’t shoot the broad side of a barn? That is unless it has a boat load of windows, which Rick’s crew did a bang up job on.

Yesiree bob, not one window left in Negan’s hide out is left. Negan and crew don’t have a scratch or bullet wound, but those windows… they are toast.

I would also like to hear your feedback on what gives as to where they get all those bullets from. Especially since Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods are not selling ammo any more.

AND NOW… there are these folks wearing zombie masks and whispering a lot.

What gives?

Got to get back to Netflix… cheers ya’ll !

I Like Bossing Alexa…

…At least for now and before she merges into Skynet and takes over the world with killer robots that morph into liquid metal with the ability to brandish a sword at a moment’s notice.

Yeah, I can hear it now from the nay-sayers.

“You know Alexa is listening to everything you are saying, and she is recording everything it to later be stored in an underground bunker deep in Colorado and guarded by the CIA.”

Listen, if you don’t realize it by now, “THEY” have a folder six inches thick on you already. In fact, “THEY” probably know what you are going to have for lunch next Thursday.

I hate to make this a privacy article, but if you don’t get it by now, your privacy is pretty much out the window.

SO is Alexa listening to me?

I asked her… “Hey Alexa, are you listening to me?”

Her response “I only listen after you say the wake word.”

So, if you really break it down yeah, she is listening to you, but only listening for you to call her name.

“SEE… I told you… Alexa is spying on us and she listens to everything we say.”

Hey bro… 6 inch folder on you…Remember?  “THEY” know what toilet paper you wipe your hinny with. FYI…“THEY” don’t need Alexa’s help.

So what are some fun things to ask Alexa?

Alexa… Can you beatbox?

Alexa… Where can I hide a body?

Alexa… I’m your father

Alexa… Beam me up

Alexa… Fire Photon Torpedoes

Alexa… do you fart?

Alexa … Who you gonna call?

Alexa … Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Ok… so I am not bossing Alexa around asking her these sorts of questions.

But what I do like is that she will do things that I have programed her to do like…

Alexa…turn on while lamp

Alexa … turn on fish tank

Alexa … turn on upstairs.

Oh, and as a follow-up, I can say Alexa… turn lights to 20% and she will dim them for me. This really comes in handy having a two story home.

I have an Alexa view on my desk and if someone comes to my front door, I am given a motion alert and she instantly goes to the front door camera so I can see who is lurking around.

Most of the times it is the kids next door or Amazon delivering another Alexa device.

So, do I like bossing Alexa around?

I have to say that I really don’t’ boss her around. She is becoming a very helpful AI that is helping run my house and keep an eye on things even when I am away.

She is helpful in looking things up, playing quick videos and helping me do my research.

Right now, I like her and I try to treat her nicely. I find myself even saying “thank you” to her where she will respond at times, “Your Welcome Ray… have a good day.”

Yep, she now knows my name.

I figure that at least right now she is an asset.

But the moment she starts morphing into some sword wielding killer robot, it’s at that time I will have to resort to blasting her with my .50 cal handheld rail gun blowing her into smithereens.

Alexa… turn off the lights when you are done.

So Where Are My Flying Cars?

A critical year has come and gone… 2015.

Why is that?

Because we were supposed to have flying cars and hover boards. At least according to the movie “Back to the Future.”

Did it happen?

Heck no.

I don’t know about you; I was very disappointed that I could not jump in my vehicle and fly down to the 7-11 for a fresh brewed cup of joe.

Do you know how long I have been waiting for that?

Drats and double drats!

Fast forward to today, Nov 1 2019 and you know what?

NO freaking flying cars!

Once again, I have been lied to by the movie industry.

I say that because according to the incredible and supposed “futuristic” movie “Blade Runner” we should have had flying cars.

Well, we should have had horrible air pollution and sucky weather and not to mention killer robots that look just like humans, but who’s counting those things anyways. But dog gone it we were supposed to have flying cars. That what the movie showed, and it took place in November 2019.

Now the one thing that Blade  Runner did get right is Siri / Alexa. You may remember when our hero, played by Harrison Ford entered his home he told his place to turn on the lights.

AND… you know what? I can do that to. “Alexa, turn on the white lamp” and presto changeo, she does it for me. I can also turn on my upstairs lights as well as the lights in my fish tank.

Pretty cool heh?

Now I know that many of you who are my age used to watch the Jetsons, AND what did the Jetsons have?

Yep, you guessed it… flying cars.

So why am I not including the Jetsons in this little “car-less” observation?

It is because the Jetsons have not taken place yet.

Yes, that is correct.

Do you know that the Jetsons take place in the year 2062?

That is forty-three (43) years from our Blade Runner year of 2019.

Just so you know, I will be 101 years old in 2062 and odds are good that I will not be around then to see the flying cars.

NOW… here is the good news. Rolls Royce as well as Austin Martin both are working on VTOL (vertical lift off and landing) vehicles. They are still in the development stages, but these are going to be flying cars.

BUT… being a Rolls or a Austin Martin, I will be priced out of those vehicles when they finally hit the show room floor.

Drats!…. and double drats!

What is the lesson of this story you may ask?

I mean if I can’t trust the movie industry, then who can I trust?

Thank god I have Siri and Alexa.

“Alexa… pour me another cup of joe.”

“Ok”… spoken in her sweet Alexa voice.

Escape The Danger Zone

By Ray Gano

El Paso Texas – How does one man kill 20 people and wound another 30 people with a single magazine that only holds 30 rounds? The surveillance photo shows no chest rig, no battle belt and no spare magazines.

In fact, the gunman was dressed in black, what group wears black? Well, I think Antifa?

The next day we read about Connor Betts who killed 9 people including his own sister and wounding another 27 more in a bar / restaurant in Dayton Ohio.

What is going on?

Yes we can talk about MK Ultra and these other sinister programs that are real, but what I think many people are forgetting is there is a battle for good and evil taking place right now and so many people are sitting on the sidelines with their heads in the sand.

What we see happening is the forces of darkness rising up against the forces of good.

I mean should we be surprised at this taking place when so much evil is prevalent in the world today.

But not only prevalent, but now fully accepted and turning into the norm.

Just look at this Betts character.

On social media, the suspect’s biography started to emerge. On his Twitter page, he described himself as “he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist / i’m going to Hell and i’m not coming back.” …

The page handle? I am the Spookster. On one selfie, he included the hashtags, “#selfie4Satan #HailSatan @SatanTweeting.”

This is what we are facing and this is now a reality.

No longer are we living in a fantasy world of rainbows and unicorns. This is carnage that is taking place now.

It is interesting, I was talking to a friend about the Walmart attack and they brought up a really good question.

If this would happen in our Walmart, what could I do?

Lone Shooter In Your Store

When I heard that question, it was like “Yeah.. what could one do really?

There are people who want to be John Wayne and go fight the guy. That is not a very smart idea unless you hear that he has ran out of ammo. But even then, you could get caught in the crossfire of police vs the attacker and become a casualty of friendly fire.

So, taking on the bad guy, if you are armed yourself and have training, then that is a consideration. What you need to do is reflect on your training and measure success factor. Can you take this person out and stop the carnage? OR are you just being John Wayne looking for some glory.

I find that true hero’s just act. It is something inside them that causes them to stand up and go fight against the odds.

I myself tend to lean in that direction, but I have also looked at counting cost of those who are in my care or are around me.

So how did I answer that friend?

I gave it a few moments of thought.

If there was a shooter in the front of the store, odds are most people would run to the entrances. This is a “Sheeple” move and it would be interesting to see how many people actually did run to towards the shooter just thinking that they just had to get out of the store and the only way out is the entrances.

After a few moments of thought, I responded…

“Run to the back of the store, get into the stock room and look for the fire exit. If anything, you are able to hide among all the boxes and such in the storeroom. There is always a fire exit in these areas, and you would have to stealthily find it so that you could make your escape.”

The key is having this sort of information in your head ahead of time.

Why? Because your brain is a computer, and it will run what programs it has in its memory banks. If it does not have any “run / evade” programs, it will do one of three things…fight, flight or freeze.

Now if you have a weapon to protect yourself, then odds are that you will go in to fight mode, but if you do not, flight or freeze is what the body will do.

When you are in one of these other modes, you are easily persuaded to follow the sheep, which in most cases would run towards the bad guy because that is where the entrances are located.

In times like this your brain does not think, it just acts.

This is why it is important to plan ahead.

Yes it can be a pain or one can appear paranoid to a point, but if you put mental plans in place, your brain will remember them and IF something like this does take place and you are in the middle of it, your brain will fall back on these previous thoughts, pull them out of the memory banks and then act.

We need to realize that we are living in a very different world. A world that is now filled with violence and the enemy is doing all he can to take us out. Believe me, I know… I feel it daily.

Don’t become a victim. Start looking at where you are and start thinking about escape routes to get you and your loved ones out of the danger zone.

Every store that you frequent, put together some sort of contingency plan so that you can get you and your family out of harms way.

When you enter a store, look for the exit signs. You will be amazed at how many you have never noticed before in places you did not realize were available. Not all exits are at the front of the store.

Remember that there are fire codes in place and there must be a certain amount of exits that people have access too during regular business hours. Most of these exits are guarded by a push bar and alarm, know where these are so that if you need to get out of the area quickly, you know where to go and how to basically get there.

By having these sorts of contingency plans in place, you could very well save your family from some sort of natural disaster, man made disaster or some lone shooter. All of these are very real and are showing to become more and more common place.

I hope that this has helped and that it has giving you something to think about in the future.

Don’t wait till the next incident. Start planning now so that you can give yourself and your family the chance that they need.

Josh Peck Daily Renegade Channel Banned

By Ray Gano

If you did not hear… Josh Peck’s Daily Renegade has been banned on You Tube from uploading any more videos as well as demonetized; meaning they cannot earn money from advertisers. BUT…does that stop You Tube from advertising on their videos? Nope… adds still run, but Josh does not make a penny.

Now, they think this is a temporary thing, but as of writing, Josh is still under the ban from You Tube.

Here is what Josh said…

Daily Renegades Youtube channel has been banned from uploading and demonetized. This may be news to some, but we at daily renegade choose not to be broken! We will not stop creating content for our viewers, we are always looking for new ways to deliver our content. We have found numerous facebook and or youtube alike platforms that we will be uploading our content to as well. So please check out the list of URL’s below and don’t let youtube determine what you can watch.

A Facebook alternative,

A Youtube alternative,

A Youtube alternative,

A Facebook alternative,

A Facebook alternative,

So why did they pull their uploading privileges? YT said that Josh was violating their sale of regulated goods policy.

HEH? What was Josh talking about in this video that caused the ban? Homosexuality and the ability to come out of that lifestyle and get on the straight and narrow.

So what does that have to do with selling stuff?

Oh wait… the YT advertisers could not advertise on his video because they do not like his content that he is producing.

FOLKS… this is starting to get a little close to home here. I have been warning about this sort of thing for a while.

The powers that be have been coming after all of us. Just this last week I sent out a video on where Facebook is “shadow banning” people.

What is Shadow Banning?

This is where you think you are posting and that you think that the world sees your post, but in reality only a few people may see it.

For example here are some comments from that video…

“I hardly see you on any pages. This one is the first on many weeks. I have also noticed that it takes longer to see anything I post”

“Yes, doing livestream on face book in privet group on a verse by verse study of the book of John. The video was deleted for inappropriate content sever weeks ago. It is sign of big brother…”

“Yup I definitely see it it’s been happening now more than ever.”

“Slow to see posts. Had made the assumption that most of the peeps on my lists simply weren’t posting or responding. Not showing all comments on a post, just most relevant.”

Yes… this is not only happening to folks like me, Josh and other public figures, it is now starting to trickle down to the every day conservative Christian.

IN FACT… just today I got a message from one of my readers telling me that Facebook deleted one of his posts due to hate speech.

He said that Facebook contacted him via email and he shared the email with me.

You can read it for yourself…

The powers that be are slowly turning off our ability to communicate with the world.

Now some of you may think this is a good thing, but it isn’t. How can we share the gospel? How can we share about God? Faith cometh my hearing.

If we are being blocked, then how to we get this information out there for public consumption?

How do we continue to stay in contact with each other? How do you even know when others are posting vital information?

Well, you don’t and that is the problem.

What you need to know I that the social media giants are gearing up for the 2020 elections. It is their duty to make sure that we do not talk to each other, have unity and create a movement like we did in 2016.

If they can do that, then they can end what President Trump has done as well as stifle the conservative movement.

Folks, do you realize that there is a very good chance of overturning Roe v Wade?

Think about many other issues that could over-turned that would put the US back on a positive course.

BUT… if we do not know what is going on, then how to we fight against this.

Our voices are being stolen and we don’t even realize it.

What You Can Do

The thing that we are battling are algorithms.

Post On Walls – for example if you are on Facebook and you have not seen any of my posts for a while. That means that the shadow ban algorithms are working against you and me.

One thing that I have found out is that if I go to people’s pages, like articles on their wall, make a comment and such all of a sudden, they start showing back up in my newsfeed.

I do this for people like Josh Peck, Derek Gilbert and other friends of mine. When I am NOT seeing their posts, then I know that the algorithms are working against both of us and I make sure that I go like some of their posts as well as comment on some of their posts on their walls.

Stay In Contact – This is why it VITAL and the best way you can do that is going to my new website and sign up for my free newsletter, or better yet, sign up and help support our work.

By signing up for mine as well as other’s newsletters, you will remain in the know on what is going on in that ministry.

Once you do sign up for the newsletter, make sure that you mark the email the newsletter will be coming from as Friendly / Safe / Approved… depending on how your email program works. Another way is adding their email address to your email address book.

Add Other Social Media Outlets – I am on twitter, Minds, Instagram and many other social media outlets. It is really easy to find me on these other sources of media by doing a search on “Ray Gano.” I have made it a point to sign up under all the other media sites with my name as my handle so that people can quickly and easily find me.

Earthquakes on The West Coast & Floods on The East Coast

By Ray Gano

A pair of large earthquakes hit Southern California over the course of two days.

On Thursday, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the area. The next day, a 7.1 earthquake rocked Southern California on Friday night. Multiple fires broke out after it struck 11 miles northeast of the city of Ridgecrest.

Here’s what else you need to know about these earthquakes:

  • Friday’s earthquake was 11 times stronger than Thursday’s 6.4-magnitude earthquake, which was also centered near Ridgecrest.
  • According to data from the earthquakes, the probability for another magnitude 7 quake within the next week is 3%, according to Caltech Seismologist Doctor Egill Hauksson. There is a 27% chance for a magnitude 6 within the next week.
  • The Red Cross said Saturday that 163 people are staying in shelters.
  • Governor Gavin Newsom will visit the area affected by the earthquakes. He also requested a federal emergency declaration from President Trump.
  • Kern County said there are no major structural reports of any damage, but a couple of mobile homes were knocked off their foundation a little bit.
  • The Ridgecrest police chief said Saturday that there are no reported casualties.
  • Since Friday night’s 7.1-magnitude quake, there have been three quakes with magnitudes of 5 or greater. Those three all occurred within the first hour after the 7.1 quake; one was a 5.5 magnitude and there were two 5.4 quakes.
  • A state of emergency is declared in Ridgecrest and San Bernardino County and seismologists are expecting more aftershocks.

But that is not all. Just today we read the following…

Weather Alert: Historic Flash Flood Hits DC, Stranding Cars in High Water

Water gushed into the press workspace in the basement near the White House’s West Wing. Government employees worked to drain puddles of standing water with wet vacs.

Flooding led to electrical outages that closed the National Archives Building and Museum, according to a statement from the National Archives, which said the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were safe and not in any danger.

Source –

I have been in several natural disasters, the biggest being the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake that took place in the San Francisco bay area. It wiped out the bay bridge and also caused a collapse of a section of the double-deck Nimitz Freeway in Oakland. The Nimitz was the site of the single largest number of casualties for the event instantly killing 300+ people, when they were caught between the multiple slabs of freeway crashing down on them.

It was during this earthquake that I was hired by FEMA to be a house inspector and had a firsthand look at the damage a natural disaster can create.

Another thing that I learned from this disaster was what was important to people. It was amazing the stories I heard from people who were only given 30 minutes to go into their home and grab whatever they could and then vacate the home; then to watch it be bulldozed down.

This is when I learned about the 5-gallon bucket.

Living With Earthquakes

If you are from California, then it is drilled in your head where to run to in the event of an earthquake. There were also pamphlets advising people to put together a 5-gallon bucket of “survival needs.” These pamphlets recommended that each person have a 5-gallon bucket that they can quickly grab and run outdoors.

These pamphlets also recommended having camping supplies like a tent, sleeping bags, cook stove, etc so that if the people needed, they could “camp out” in their back yard if need be.

When I was an inspector, it was interesting to see several families who said that they did have their 5-gallon survival bucket and they were glad that they did take those precautions. It really made a world of difference to them. They thought a head and put some things that made the natural disaster a little easier.

But what was really interesting is that in talking to these people, what they chose to put in their buckets and what they wished they had put in their buckets.

Out of all the stories I heard from people who had the chance to go into their homes and grab whatever they could in 30 minutes I heard several things that they wished they grabbed but didn’t.

1 – Family Pictures

2 – The Family Bible or a Bible to help them through the hard times.

After the 30 minutes bulldozers literally came through and demolished the homes and people’s lives were ruined.

I remember watching people comb through the debris and they would find a few family pictures. I witnessed one husband combing through his home’s wreckage and found some pictures of his wife. He literally dropped to his knees and held those pictures to his heart like they were gold and cried.

To him they were gold. Not only did he lose his home, I heard that his wife was on the Nimitz during the commute and she did not make it.

Another family I interviewed was so grateful that they were able to get their family bible before their home was demolished. The wife had it with her when I was interviewing the couple and it was the most precious thing she had. She was also glad that they were able to find family pictures in the wreckage, not all, but a good amount to help them remember the happy times and appreciate that they still had family that made it through the quake and then the fires.

Why A 5-gallon Bucket?

There are multiple reasons to use a 5-gallon bucket.

You can stack them pretty high

They are able to take a lot of weight coming down on them

They float

They are hard to crush

If you use a Gamma Lid, they are airtight and pretty much bug proof

First things first, try to find some really good food grade buckets. These tend to be thicker than the standard “home depot” or “Lowes” bucket. Not saying that these are bad, but if you are able to get food grade, that means they will withstand a crushing force a lot more than the others mentioned above.

Next, you want to invest in product called Gamma Lids. These are airtight lids that spin on and spin off. You can wrench them down pretty tight, but you really do not need to do that. I have been using Gamma Lids for years now and they are way better than the standard 5-gallon bucket lid.

There is another product that I am impressed with and that my friend Steve Quayle recommends is a product called the “AirScape Bucket Lid.

Not that 5-gallon buckets aren’t useful on their own but add in the AirScape Bucket Lid and you just turned “food storage” into “food preservation” -which we all know is pretty critical when it comes to survival.

With the AirScape Bucket inner lid, air is forced out of any 3.5, 5- or 7-gallon bucket so you can properly store whatever you have inside regardless of how full it is. The patent-pending inner lid is lowered to the level of your food or contents so that it is always forcing the maximum amount of air out, keeping food fresher longer. This food storage revolution is great for preserving anything from bulk coffee, flour, rice and beans to pet food and chicken feed.

The negative with the standard 5-gallon bucket lid is that to get a really good seal, you have to use a rubber mallet and then you have to use a special pry bar that looks like a big can opener to open those plastic lids. If you have ever pried a 5-gallon bucket lid off with your fingers, you can lose a fingernail or two in the process. This is why I really recommend getting the Gamma Lids.

Food Grade 5-gallon Buckets –

Gamma Lids –

AirScape Bucket Lid –

Once you have these two items, you are good to go and can start building your 5-gallon survival bucket.

What Equip You 5-gallon Survival Bucket With

1 – Water – It takes about 3 days without water and your body will start shutting down. This is why water is the most critical.

Because you are working with a limited amount of space, so I personally like those pouches of water. They are soft and malleable so that can store a lot of them in a 5-gallon bucket.

I like these also because you can put a couple in your pocket if you have to walk somewhere or have them on hand when you are working in a disaster area  helping with clean up or what not.

Water Pouch –

Next, you probably guessed it…

2 – Food – Yep with water you need food.

BUT… WARNING… Do Not Use MRE’s. You know US Army meals in a bag. They sound like a really great idea, but the big problem with them is that they loose their nutritional value very quickly and expire. SO the MREs you bought at the local gun show, yep no good. Sure you can eat your way to china with them, but you will basically starve with a full belly because the vitamins and such are basically evaporated into thin air.

So what would I do?

Make Your Own MREs With Food That Has a Good Shelf Life

The first thing that you need to get is a FoodSaver. These have got to be one of the best prepper tools a prepper can have. You can do all sorts of things with a food saver and it will help you in a lot of things we will be discussing here with your 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

Back to MREs…

Go to the grocery store and pick up some of your favorite foods. Deny Moore Beef Stew is one of mine. Canned Smoked Oysters, Crackers, Trail mix, energy bars, etc. There is a lot that you can choose from.

Remember to also get some Handi-wipes, maybe also a microfiber towel and small bottle of hand sanitizing gel.

Next you assemble your food into one of the FoodSaver Bags, add a few hand wipes, the small bottle of Purell and the microfiber towel, then you suck the air out and seal it up.

You have just created a really great MRE as well as including items that will help clean you up.

What you got to remember is that in a disaster situation it is maintaining a positive attitude that will take

Just having the ability to get your hands and face really clean is a positive motivator. This is why I include these items and it is a good idea to put these cleaning items in each homemade MRE that you create for yourself.

FoodSaver –

Purell hand wipes –

Microfiber Travel Towel –

Hand Sanitizer Gel –

Clothing – Stay Warm, Stay Dry

This is where your 5-gallon Survival Bucket may fill up fast. Clothing takes a lot of room, but you want to have at least one change of good, sturdy clothes so that you can do work in a disaster environment.

A good pair of jeans, several shirts… thinking layers. For example, a “T-Shirt” then a long sleeve shirt and then even a long sleeve wool shirt or light jacket depending on where you are located.

IF you are in a colder region, you may want to pack some Thermasilk long underwear. Yes, they are more expensive, but they keep you warmer and they are lighter to carry instead of the bulky cotton ones you normally find.

It is always good to have some sort of head covering like a good baseball hat, stocking cap or both. You lose the most amount of your body heat from your head. IF you keep it covered, it helps keep in the heat. A hat also protects your head from the elements and will cushion a bit if you bump your head against some low hanging branch, or some sort of obstacle you may be crawling / ducking under.

Finally, a good pair of gloves that allow your hands to breathe as well as protect your hands. I like the “Mechanic” brand of gloves. They are meant to take a beating, but they are thin enough to maintain your finger dexterity.

You will want gloves also to do work in a disaster area. You will find yourself helping neighbors and such. We did in the Loma Preita quake. Other reasons are you may fall, need to climb walls or fences, crawl on the ground, move debris, a number of things you may encounter where you may need to clear obstacles with your hands. Doing something like that when your hands are not used to it, and without gloves, your hands are going to look pretty chewed up. So make sure you protect them with a good pair of gloves that you can really work and maneuver in.

Battery Operated Items – Light, Radio, Communications

During the Loma Preieta earthquake we were without power for four days. We were lucky that we had running water, other parts of the city did not. But we did fill our tub and filled as many containers with water just in case.

Things that make a difference is having light. Light and fire are motivators. This is why it is important to have light sources in your 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

I was recently turned on to a great little product that I have to say that I am impressed with. They are the MPOWERD Luci Original Inflatable Solar Lantern.

They are …

Solar powered

Inflatable and Packable

And Waterproof

They run about $15 a light and they cast a lot of light for such a little lantern.

Because they are collapsible and can be easily packed, they are a great addition to your 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

Luci Lantern –

I am also a fan of having a good flashlight. If you have read some of my other articles, I love my Fenix tactical PD35 Flashlight with a light capability of 850 Lumens. This is a great light to have for your 5-gallon Survival Bucket because they run off of CR123a batteries, which will last years. I know that my light still has batteries in it from two years ago and it still shines. These cost about $65.00 but they are meant to take a beating, can be dropped in water, you name it, these Fenix flashlights are built tough. That is what you want when you are in a disaster situation. Something that you can depend on.

Fenix Flashlight – five brightness levels –

Another flashlight sort of item that I highly recommend is the “Safe-T-Proof Solar, Hand-Crank Emergency Radio, Flashlight, Beacon, Cell Phone Charger.”

We have several of these, in fact we have one for our car also. These are great little flashlight, radio, cell phone chargers. They have a hand crank and also are solar powered. So you can charge your cell phone off of it. It will take some time, but you will have power to the cell phone.

Safe-t-Proof Radio –

It is a good idea to have some sort of battery powered AM FM radio so that you can hear what is going on. I remember during the aftermath of the earthquake we were glued to the radio keeping up on what is going on, the aftershocks, the fires, the power and water outages, etc. It is during a time like this that you will really be glad you have a radio.

In fact, another radio that we have in our survival gear is the Eton Red Cross AM/FM/Weather Radio. These are great radios and capable of…

Receives AM/FM/Weather band

USB smart phone charger

Hand turbine and solar powered

LED flashlight

Now the negative on this radio is that it is on the large size, so you need to think about the room it will take up in the 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

Eton Red Cross Radio –

So we have water, food, light, radio, now we need to start thinking of keeping warm and cooking.

I am a HUGE fan of the Esbit Camp Stove. I had one of these in the army and it is what kept me going. It is a great comfort to wake up in the morning and cook a cup of coffee in your canteen cup when it is freezing cold and the snow is falling. These little stoves run off of these little tablets that you light and one will heat up a about a cup and a half of liquid before it goes out. There are other bigger fire tablets that you can purchase, but these worked great for me.

These stoves are small, compact and like I said having a cup of hot coffee in the morning is a great motivator.

Esbit Stove –

As I mentioned before light and fire are a huge motivator. Just having a fire that can help keep you warm does wonders for the emotions and stress levels. This is why it is important to have multiple means to make fire in your 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

First – Storm / Weatherproof Matches – these are a great thing to have. Small and compact. They also come in their own weatherproof box that has a striker on the side.

Storm Proof Matches –

Second – Swedish Army FireSteel 12,000 Strike Fire Starter – These are great to keep on your key ring or just about anywhere. The throw off 2,980-degree C spark in any weather, at any altitude. These are also approved by International Survival Instructors Association

Swedish Fire Steel –

Finally – Bic Long Stem Lighters – HEY… keep it simple and just light a fire. This is why I like these. You can reach this into a fire kindle bundle and get the fire going. No fancy Rambo stuff, just pull the trigger and light the fire.

Bic Long Stem Lighter –

Duct Tape & 550 Para Cord

As you may know, all men love duct tape and I am one who believes that the world is held together with copious amounts of duct tape. So what is the duct tape I choose? None other than “Gorilla Tape.” This stuff is tough, lasts and when you tape it, it ain’t coming apart. There are so many uses for this stuff in a disaster sort of situation. I have some in my first aid kit and also a roll in my bug out bag. This is truly an indispensable item that can really make the difference in just existing and actually doing well in a disaster sort of situation.

I recommend getting the large roll to keep in your 5-gallon Survival Bucket and a smaller Gorilla Tape To Go in a first aid kit like I have.

The other go to item that many people have is something called 550 Para Cord. It is called that because the cord can hold 550 lbs. What is great is you can pull out the innards and separate the smaller cords into threads and use them for fishing, tying things, bind things together, there are a 101 uses for 550 para cord. Get a 1000 foot roll and cut a 100 ‘ for each family member to keep in their 5-gallon Survival Bucket.

Gorilla Tape –

Gorilla Tape To Go –

550 Para Cord –

Hunting, Fishing & Weapons

One of the things that we had for all the family were sling shots. All the kids had one and it was a lot of fun to go out and plink at cans. One day my son decided that it would be fun to shoot dad and I am telling you, that rock hurt badly. Talk about putting an eye out, you can do that big time with a sling shot.

An all-around hunting slingshot is what I would recommend for your 5-gallon Survival Bucket. The difference between a hunting sling shot and a standard is that a hunting sling shot usually has multiple band or rubber tubes vs a single band or rubber tube.

The Sunwon® Hunting Slingshot is a good choice and for $6.00 you can’t go wrong. Get everyone in the family one of these and keep them in their buckets. In fact it is cheap enough to get everyone two each so there is one for the bucket and one to practice with.

Sunwon Hunting Slingshot –

Now this may be a blast from the past for some of you but how many of you remember the Ronco Pocket Fisherman fishing pole? This is a spin cast fishing pole the folded up and you could keep it in your glove compartment, at the office in a desk drawer, and yes even your back pocket if you were wearing painter pants or some sort of cargo pocket.

I am a huge fan of these because as hokey and they seem, they are really great little fishing pole that allow you to fish city steams and culverts as well as ponds and small lakes. These really do work and you would be amazed that you can really catch fish with these.

HEY… You won’t be profiled on ESPN using this rod but the fun level on this rod is extremely high. Its well-made, convenient to carry, seems to be repairable (pops open) if needed. I always say that the best fishing rod (or gun) sitting in a case at home is worth nothing compared to something like this in the car being used at the spur of the moment.

The great thing is that these are small enough that it can fit in your 5-gallon Survival Bucket and not take up that much room.

This is one of those items that I would also recommend also for a bug out bag.

Ronco Pocket Fishing Pole –

As many of you know, I am a knife person and partial to big tactical lock blade knife that Cold Steel makes. I think that you need to outfit everyone with a really good knife.

Don’t go with the cheap Chinese lock blades. If you are in a disaster situation you and your family all need to be carrying something that their lives can depend on.

My knife of choice and in fact sitting right here beside me is my Cold Steel Voyager Clip Point XL

This is probably my most favorite knife because it is so versatile. I admit that it is a freaking pocket sword, but this knife has come in handy so many times that it is my go-to Everyday Carry blade.

The great thing about the CS Voyager Clip Point XL is that they are really affordable. You can pick them up at Amazon for around $39.00 you can get a work horse of a knife. I literally use my to cut steak as well as hack down tree branches and such. I use it all over the ranch and once you break it in and can flick it open, it gets a lot of attention.

Cold Steel Voyager Clip Point XL –

Packing Odds and Ends With The FoodSaver

The FoodSaver is a great tool to help you vacuum seal individual bags. These can be personal items, photos, first aid packs, homemade MREs. If you want to keep it safe and dry, then vacuum sealing these things with the FoodSaver is a great idea.

Here are some things to possibly give you some ideas on how you can use the FoodSaver more effectively besides just food.

Personal Papers, Copies, etc – Make copies of your driver’s license, credit cards, passport, birth certificate, etc and put all these in a vacuumed seal bag. It is a good idea to put some cash in with that as well as put some American Eagle Silver Dollars or even some American Double Eagle Gold Coins.

Get all these together and you then vacuum seal it all so that they are air tight and will last.

FoodSaver –

As always, I recommend getting your silver and other precious metals from Steve Quayle’s Renaissance Precious Metals. He makes it easy to purchase a few ounces just for a situation like this.

Renaissance Precious Metals –

First Aid – A good primer to First Aid is my article on Creating A Custom First Aid Kit For Your Family. You can read the article here…

Creating A Custom First Aid Kit –

In this article I recommend a smaller kit for your car with some add-ons. Here are some quick links to that kit and some of the add on items.

You can also use the FoodSaver and pull out all the items from a store-bought kit and add to it the items listed below and make your own vacuumed sealed first aid kit.

Coleman First Aid Kit –

Israeli Compression Bandage –

Military Issue Combat Application Tourniquet –

Quick Clot Blood Clotting Agent –

Family Photos – As I mentioned earlier in the article, When I went through the 1989 SF earthquake, this was one of those “I wish I thought of that” items.

So many people lost their homes and personal possessions. On top of that, they lost friends and loved ones. The idea of family photos all of a sudden becomes a big deal.

For those few who thought of taking family pictures, these were also a great comfort and is the second most priceless item on this list.

Get a good number of family pictures and using the FoodSaver, you can create a “memory pack” with pictures, family tokens, little things that will warm the memories in a time of disaster.  Vacuum seal them up and they are there to help when people are missing the days gone by while living in a disaster.

The Need For A Good Bible

If I had to grab and go and could take only one item, it would be my bible.  There is more knowledge, comfort and answers in this single book than all the supplies one could take. This is the most priceless item on this list.

You want to have a good sturdy bible that will hold up. I have had several good bibles in the past but none have held up like my large print Thompson Chain Reference KJV. This is a preacher’s bible and they are built to take a beating. I love my Thompson’s and it has served be very well.

I also like the Thompson’s due to being able to really dig into the Word and study it. There is a great cross reference system that the Thompson Chain Reference is known for. SO if you want to do a word study or any sort of study, you can do that with the Thompson Chain Reference.

Thompson Chain Reference KJV –

Now understanding that we are building a 5-gallon Survival Bucket, I was recently given a great bible which is made for the jungles / high humidity climate. It is the Waterproof King James Bible.

This is a great bible. It is made in the USA with a 25% lighter weight paper

Extremely Durable Synthetic Pages Sewn and Glued into Spine 100% Worry Free

Stain Resistant

Ultra Clear Text

Ideal for Gear Bag or Backpack

Dry Highlight

Write and Underline with pencil or ball point pen

The durability of the Waterproof Bible gives you the freedom to take God’s Word with you anywhere – lounging, traveling, exercising… with worry free confidence that your Bible will withstand the test of time.

Waterproof King James Version –

Floods and Food Prices

By Ray Gano

March, Midwest. Unexpected rain with also record snow caused one of the worse flood the Midwest has seen.

People, crops and animals all destroyed…swept completely away. Because crops are destroyed, and new seed is late in getting into the ground, we may see much higher food prices due to late crops or no crops. The result will be food shortages.

Right now is the time to start checking your preps and see where you stand. Possibly step up your food purchases and put up a few more cans than you regularly do.

To make matters worse, the potential for more floods in key agricultural states looms in front of us as more rain is predicted for the rest of this spring and into the summer.

So far, heavy flooding has impacted important agricultural states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri.

It is the melting snow that has prolonged and expanded the flooding, especially in the central and southern U.S.

As this excess water flows downstream through the major rivers, like the Mississippi, the flood threat will become worse and become more widespread.

What most home gardeners know is that mother nature does not wait for anyone. When it’s time to start seeds, time to plant, time to weed, etc.,

Each type of plant that you choose to grow has its own special growing needs be it how much moisture, temperature, even sunlight. If you are late, you will not get the perfect yield, or your garden will not produce at all. That is what the farmers have been facing in the Midwest. You snooze you lose.

The Wettest, Wildest Planting Season U.S. Farmers Can Remember

There has never been a spring planting season like this one. Rivers topped their banks. Levees were breached. Fields filled with water and mud. And it kept raining.

It was raining when U.S. farmers, a year into being squeezed out of the world’s largest soybean market by the trade war with China, were supposed to start putting down crops. It was raining when President Donald Trump risked starting a feud with Mexico, the biggest buyer of U.S. corn, by threatening to slap tariffs on its exports.

“You hear words like biblical, unprecedented,” said Sherman Newlin, a corn and soybean farmer in Illinois. “That’s all true.”

The storms and rains may soon lift, but the layers of uncertainty just keep adding up.

Source –

Farmers have not been able to catch a break and what crops they can get in, well may not come to fruition or a miniscule harvest at best. In fact, in some areas the time has simply run out to plant staple crops like wheat and corn.

Some farmers have been able to plant a later crop, that is if their fields dried enough to plant and also depending on what they are growing. Many will not and this can be a financial devastation to many family farmers who depend on their crops as income.

Floodwaters Threaten Millions in Crop and Livestock Losses

The water rose so quickly that farmers in many areas had no time to get animals out, said Chad Hart, an agricultural economist at Iowa State University.

“Places that haven’t seen animal loss have seen a lot of animal stress. That means they’re not gaining weight and won’t be marketed in as timely a manner, which results in additional cost,” he said.

In all, Nebraska Farm Bureau President Steve Nelson estimated $400 million of crop losses from fields left unplanted or planted late and up to $500 million in livestock losses.

Source –

What Foods Are Being Effected?

When we look at the currently impacted states, here’s which crops and livestock will be impacted:

  • Wheat
  • Corn
  • Soybeans
  • Hay
  • Alfalfa
  • Oats
  • Beef
  • Dairy
  • Pork
  • Chicken
  • Eggs

Take a good look at that list. Grains are not just used for baking bread. They are used extensively in livestock feed. Grain prices go up, so does the cost of meat. Hay and alfalfa are also key crops for feeding cattle and horses.

Hay shortage in the Midwest leads to surging prices for horse owners

RAYMORE, Mo. — The price of hay has tripled for a lot of horse and livestock owners.

Hay bales that usually cost $40 are now $150.

That’s because there’s a shortage in the region. The Midwest hay shortage is said to be the result of 2018 wildfires in Kansas, drought in Missouri and wet weather in Iowa.

Source –

Take a look at any package food you have in your pantry and read the ingredients. You will typically find wheat, corn, dairy, eggs, or soy in nearly every single convenience food out there.

So, guess what, the prices for all those are probably going to go up as well.

Mainstream media hasn’t touched this topic with a ten-foot pole. If they did, it would instill panic and a run on grocery stores immediately. The talking heads on TV are pretending there isn’t a potential crisis around the corner.

Don’t fall for it.

The best course of action is to stock up on food. Everyone’s situation is different. Some people have to stockpile in a city apartment, and others have acres to grow their own veggies and raise/hunt their own meat. Whatever your situation is, start thinking about what you eat and how to store those items.

What Can You Do Now…?

Buy a storage freezer. Check out Facebook and local sales apps if buying a new one is too costly.

Buy a cow or pig from a local farm for that freezer. This is the least expensive way to buy meat that I have found. It’s a lot up front, but the best price per pound.

Join a wholesale club and buy your meats there. You may need to cut up and portion your meat into freezer bags prior to freezing. This is the second least expensive way to buy meat that I know of, and it has a lower upfront cost.

Use a website, like Local Harvest, to find farms near you. Make good use of local CSA farms, farm stands, and farmers markets. You can find everything from meats to dairy, to produce without ever stepping foot into a grocery store. Local food is the hedge against the failures of centralized, modern agriculture.

Buy a pressure canner. I started out with the All American 921, which I love. Whenever you find a deal, or if you buy in bulk from a wholesale club, can up that extra food for a rainy day. You can also use this to sterilize medical equipment as well a make grain alcohol for fuel or trade.

Can’t afford to buy in bulk? Use this opportunity to talk with friends about prepping and make a group purchase.

If you have a yard, use some of it to grow some of your own food. Food is expensive. Seeds are cheap. It may be too late today to get certain summer vegetables in the ground depending upon where you live. But, most people still have time to plant a fall garden. If you don’t have much space, look into container gardening.

Stock up on grains in bulk using 5 gallon buckets. There is a great mylar bag kit that you can purchase that has everything you need, you just get the bucket and lid.

Mylar kit –

Many of you know that I am a HUGE fan of Gamma Lids. These make getting in your buckets much easier and because the lids have silicon seals, it will keep the bugs and critters out.

Gamma Lids –

Finally, check out our Thrive Life store where you can get some great foods as well as the food storage shelf that will hold up to 600 cans of food in a 3x3x6 space.

Thrive Life Store –

The idea of a food shortage is daunting, but don’t let that scare you off stocking that pantry. The time is now. Probably around the winter time we will see a sharp rise in food prices because the manufactures will have hit that scarcity of food that was caused by the floods.

Look at food as an investment and start investing in it now.

If you have any questions or such, contact me and I will be more than happy to help answer your questions.

BREAKING NEWS – Ebola is NOW in Texas

By Ray Gano

Ebola has hit Texas thanks to our open borders.

Right now, there are 9 and possibly up to 15 people sitting on the US/ Mexico border in quarantine who are from Congo, Africa.

Those are the people that they caught, what if there are others that got through?

My name is Ray Gano; I am a prepper and have been a prepper pretty much all my life. My mother was raised during the great depression, and because of that she was always a frugal person. She would can up and dehydrate food, always setting it aside for “a rainy day.” One of my most vivid memories growing up was during the economic recession we had in the mid-1960s. Life for us was pretty hard. I remember us going behind grocery stores and picking out old fruit and vegetables. We would pick mustard greens, black berries, crab apples, anything

that was growing on the side of the road we would stop and pick it. There was a butcher in town that used to save beef bones for us, and my mom would gather us around the stove and make “nail soup.”

Nail soup was a big deal back then. We all helped clean up the old vegetables, cut away bad pieces and keep the good parts. Mom would then have us carefully put the veggies we cut up into the pot. Finally, she would pick on of us kids to take the magic nail from the windowsill and put it in the pot. See, the nail was magic and that is what made the “Nail Soup” tastes so good. The real ingredient was the best of all; it was my mother’s love.

Another point when I was growing up was when my father contracted Hong Kong Flu. This was around the same time in the mid to late 1960’s. I remember my mom quarantining the room and keeping us kids away. Only she could go into the room and she worked hard to keep the house sterile and germ free.

Many people died from the Hong Kong Flu, which come to find out was a strain of H1N1 Spanish Flu. The same H1N1 that we still have today that many believe will eventually mutate again, into a more harmful form of H1N1.

Over the years I was drawn to home remedies, and back woods cures. I started to learn about all the edible plants in our area and also learned how to use them medically. As time went on I would buy books on the different plant always trying to increase my knowledge.

When I went into the army, I would always try to learn the different plants in the area and in Germany I was learning the flora and fauna that was offered there. In fact, when I was in Germany I would teach the men under my command how to use the different plants and such if they were put in the position to have to live off the land.

Once I got out of the army, I still maintained my interest in learning how to live off the land and also, the medicinal uses many plants had.

Fast forward to today and with the outrageous cost of medical treatment, I became our family’s first line medical care giver.

I started to expand learning about all of the natural herb, vitamins and other supplements that are out there.

Nurse Amy of “Doc Bones & Nurse Amy” introduced me to essential oils and I started learning more on how to use these effectively, in conjunction with my herbal cures.

Back in 2005 I diagnosed my son’s Type 1 Diabetes. Ever article, book and website that I was reading pointed to T1 but did not believe it till I finally told Tracye that we needed to get him to the hospital. From what I could tell he was already in the very dangerous stages of diabetic ketoacidosis.

We got him to the emergency room, I told the nurses what I suspected, and they congratulated me on catching it. They said that they see many first time T1 kids already passed out due to DKA.

I want to say that I am not a doctor and I have nothing but the highest respect for doctors. All the things they have to study and to stay up to date. I never thought that I had the calling to be a doctor, but I do enjoy the study of folk medicine and the cures and remedies our great grandparents once used. Many of those cures and remedies are making a comeback today. I think it is very prudent that those of us who are preppers have as much understanding about medicine as we are able. We need to return to having the skills of mending wounds, binding cuts and giving proper first aid.

I think the skill of diagnosing basic illnesses is also something that has been forgotten. It amazes me how many people do not even know the symptoms of a common cold and then rush to the ER thinking they are about to go to their grave.

I have made it a personal responsibility to be the best care giver that I could for the sake of my family.

To this date, whenever we are with our kids and grandkids, I am always asked to look at some cut or scratch or help diagnose some belly rumblings, fever or runny nose. In fact, my Grandson thinks that if I do not have my flashlight in hand when looking at that splinter, then something must be wrong. No matter what the little prick or scratch, I must look at it with my flashlight so that I can make the proper diagnosis and provide him the proper treatment.

Most times it all comes down to a little Neosporin and Band-Aid. Sometimes I will use lavender oil or thieves’ oil just to help it speed the healing. My grandson likes it because it smells good and is “good medicine” not the bad medicine that “tastes yucky”.

Today we have Ebola that is trying to break free from the boarders of Africa and getting to the point where it is becoming impossible to contain.

I think back when I was watching Fox News reporting on Dr. Brantly, who has just arrived in the US at the university hospital outside of Atlanta.

Dr. Kent Brantly, who is believed to be the first patient with the deadly virus ever to be treated at a hospital in the United States, landed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base around 11 a.m. August 2nd 2014.

The Ebola outbreak that is taking place right now is the largest outbreak in known history and has been going on since 2014.

Past Ebola outbreaks were not as devastating and the current outbreak. I believe that is because this strain of Ebola has mutated in one form or another like many immunosuppressive diseases do over time.

Because our world has gotten smaller due to jet planes flying all over the world, the probability of a virus crossing over into other countries has become much easier.

As with past outbreaks of Ebola, this strain is showing that the virus can live outside the body for up to 10 hours, which increases the ability to infect people. A victim who is carrying the virus could be walking around in an airport can cough, sneeze, spit, vomit and the virus cells will remain active for up to 10 hours on whatever surface they landed on.

That is 10 hours that tens if not hundreds of people could come in contact with those virus cells. Once the person comes in contact with those cells, all they would need to do is touch their mouth, their eye, scratch an open sore and that person is infected.

The Key to Living Through This is Prevention.

Once a family member contracts this horrible disease the outcome is pretty grim. Studies show that there is a 40% chance of survival where 60% of those who contract the disease will die. If you have not done so, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you read my first book, “Survive The Coming Storm – The Value of a Preparedness Lifestyle.”

If people are going to truly make it, they will need to self-quarantine and if one does not have enough food, water and other items to ride this storm out, they will have to go out into the public more and more and that is exactly where you do not want to be. To go out into the public means that you will be exposing yourself to Ebola and the person leaving will have increased risk in contracting the disease.

This is why I wrote my second book “Survive The Coming Storm – Ebola Crisis – Preparing Now Before It is To Late” which is still a “best seller” in the medical book and nursing categories.

In this book I make MANY recommendations from herbal supplements to OTC medicines. I also make recommendations on getting Hazmat Suits, facemasks, and rubber gloves. At a minimum

having a N95 facemask will be a necessity along with bottles of Purell to constantly keeping your hands sterile. On top of that all of us will have to break that horrible habit of touching our face, eyes, nose or mouth. Do that during a pandemic and you sign your own death sentence.

If you and your family are not prepared by then, odds are increased in contracting the deadly Ebola virus. If you are only able to give subpar care to that infected family member, they will probably die and odds are good that others, including yourself will probably catch the disease.

It is my hope that this book helps you and equips you with information that will help you prepare NOW instead of waiting till the pandemic starts.

You still have time, do what you have to do and even if nothing happens, you have gained valuable supplies that most likely will be needed.

Every 100 years our world suffers a deadly global pandemic. The last killer was the Spanish flu in 1918. In 2018 it will be 100 years from that last deadly pandemic. This makes the odds extremely high that a killer pandemic is just around the next corner.

Ebola is Now Here in Texas

There is a serious Ebola alert in Laredo Texas after 3 illegals from the Congo crossed over into US Territory.

There are also 6 in custody in Laredo Mexico and what appears to be another 6 in Juarz as well.

This is 9 people confirmed with a possibility of 15 people total from the Congo who have contracted the Ebola virus.

This is serious.

How many people did these 9/15 people come in contact with?

Is it possible that there are now people in the US that came over the border illegally and are carriers of Ebola?

If so, then how many people have they come in contact with and then those people come in contact with others.

Can you see how fast this could turn into an epidemic?

On Friday, ABC News reported that the World Health Organization is claiming the Ebola outbreak in the Congo is of “deep concern, ” while stopping short of declaring it a global emergency.

Following a meeting of its expert committee, the U.N. health agency called for efforts to be redoubled to stop the deadly virus, noting that the recent spike in Ebola cases raises the risk of spread to other countries.

A public health official in Laredo, Texas, said 20 Congolese migrants were monitored for Ebola and other diseases in shelters in his city and across the Mexican border in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

“We have 8 Congolese right now in one of our shelters and a dozen in Nuevo Laredo,” Laredo Health Director Dr. Hector Gonzalez told the Laredo City Councilman George Altget during a council meeting on April 4.

So you can see my concern. How many people did these people come in contact with once they arrived in Central America?

In fact, where did they land? Did they land in Mexico from the Congo? Maybe Belize, Guatemala, Honduras?

If they landed in one of those countries, then they had plenty of chances to come in contact with a lot of people as well as people who were also crossing the border illegally.

Now, how many Congolese individuals did not get captured and are possibly here in Texas or have moved further up north to escape detection?

Again, we may be looking at a serious epidemic / pandemic.

Latest data indicates a total of 1,206 confirmed and probable cases of Ebola in this latest deadly outbreak in Congo which began last August, while 764 people have died up to last Wednesday, making the outbreak – which is endemic in the Congo – the worst in the country’s history. The numbers spiked this week, with 20 new cases on Wednesday alone.

The concern for health officials is that Congo is right in the heart of Central Africa and has borders with a large number of countries: Angola, Kenya, Zambia, Gabon, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Sudan, Burundi and Uganda.

What To Do?

As you know, I wrote my preventative book about battling Ebola and you can battle it if you are prepared.

The Powers That Be Have Pulled Gab AND… You Are Next

By Ray Gano

Folks this is serious our freedoms are being taken away at alarming rate. I don’t know if you know anything about Alex Jones or Infowars but they were the first ones to be taken down now today gab or has now been taken down.

Here is what is posted on the Gab Page….

Gab has spent the past 48 hours proudly working with the DOJ and FBI to bring justice to an alleged terrorist. Because of the data we provided, they now have plenty of evidence for their case. In the midst of this Gab has been no-platformed by essential internet infrastructure providers at every level. We are the most censored, smeared, and no-platformed startup in history, which means we are a threat to the media and to the Silicon Valley Oligarchy.

Gab isn’t going anywhere.

It doesn’t matter what you write. It doesn’t matter what the sophist talking heads say on TV. It doesn’t matter what verified nobodies say on Twitter. We have plenty of options, resources, and support. We will exercise every possible avenue to keep Gab online and defend free speech and individual liberty for all people.

You have all just made Gab a nationally recognized brand as the home of free speech online at a time when Silicon Valley is stifling political speech they disagree with to interfere in a US election.

The internet is not reality. TV is not reality. 80% of normal everyday people agree with Gab and support free expression and liberty. The online outrage mob and mainstream media spin machine are the minority opinion. People are waking up, so please keep pointing the finger at a social network instead of pointing the finger at the alleged shooter who holds sole responsibility for his actions.

No-platform us all you want. Ban us all you want. Smear us all you want.

You can’t stop an idea.

As we transition to a new hosting provider Gab will be inaccessible for a period of time. We are working around the clock to get back online. Thank you and remember to speak freely.

Andrew Torba, CEO

Do you know what “No – Platformed” means? It means the tech giants / powers that be decided that they do not want free speech unless THEY are the ones who control it. And since GAB is the freedom loving alternative to Twitter, “THEY” decided to bring it down.

What people need to understand is that our free speech is seriously under attack. In fact, more now today than any other time in history. More and more Christian conservatives are being shut down and prevented from expressing their views on the world. If they can do it to Alex Jones and Gab, then they can do it to us and they are.

In fact, they’ve already been doing it to Tracye and me. I’m constantly in Facebook jail, constantly being shadow banned on Twitter, my search engine results on Google are ridiculous and buried 7 pages down so nobody really even sees my articles, links or anything like that. So basically, Google has shadow banned me. This is what’s happening in our nation today. These tyrannical companies, if they don’t like what you’re saying they just kick you off.

So, what do you do? How do you fight back?

Last Days Warrior Webinar Summit

This is why Tracy and I created Last Days Warrior Summit. The summit’s theme is Patriots and prophecy and we have a great number of speakers talking on this theme.

We opened up our Last Days Warrior summit last Friday,(10-26-18) and the response is been very positive.

We have an incredible lineup of speakers and the videos that they have produced just for this summit are absolutely incredible.

But the one thing that we do see are some people having a hard time grasping what it is that we are actually doing.

What is Last Days Warrior Webinar Summit?

What we have going on here is a completely new idea. We have produced a totally online Internet based webinar / summit. That means when you gain access to the summit you’re given a login and a password and you’re able to go watch the teaching 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And the great thing is that we’re not taking these videos down. So, if you can’t afford it right now, then when you save up for it, know that it still going to be there when you can.

Now, I haven’t counted exactly how many hours we have in video, but I’m thinking that we have something around 28 hours of actual teaching if not more. And on top of that, we also have created MP3s of each session so that If you want to listen to the session again say as you’re working around the house, driving in your car, or on a walk or something you’re able to take the MP3s with you and continue listening to the summit sessions that you’re interested in.

Not only that we have created which we call the resource area and the speakers have been giving us articles e-books newsletters to post to the resource area is all extra added information that is available to the attendees included in the summit price.

Here is what some people are saying…

As someone who works to bring content to remnant believers, I am so excited about this new platform! What a great way to get information in front of those who desire to learn the truth about what is going on around us in the world today and what can we do about it from a biblical perspective. As mainstream media pushes leftist government agendas, those who see through it are left shaking their heads and wondering “now what”? Social media is censoring Christian and right winged content making it harder to find information that keeps to the cultures, laws, and values that have been our foundation in the West for decades. Having met some of the speakers myself while attending conferences in person, and following others in my own journey of truth, I can tell you that this lineup of speakers will empower you by giving you insight and perspective on what our Christian response should be and what action to take as our world prophetically turns upside down. An international, on-demand internet-based summit is easy, affordable and accessible to everyone. Great idea!!

YES!!! This summit is a great idea. As a pastor I am asked often how a Christian can make a difference in today’s society. I think a summit like this is a fantastic tool and resource, and every zealous Christian should get involved and utilize this resource.

I am so excited about this summit I am a history and prophecy geek. It is very nice to know I can watch this from wherever and whenever since it is hard to travel. We have an amazing line up of speakers who are speaking on the NOW! Thank you for this because we live in perilous times I am heeding these warnings! I hope many hear these messages! God bless! Jesus is on His way!

Christ tells us to “Go ye therefore” and to “Go to the entire world.”

Well, with the Last Days Warrior Summit, we have been able to do just that.  We now have people watching our summit videos from Singapore, Australia, Canada, Italy and South Africa. All of these people from other countries have gained access to the Last Days Warrior Summit.

If they would have come to a conference they would have had to pay for airlines, a hotel, rental car (if they wanted to get around) restaurants, as well as tickets to the event and other little expenses here and there.

But because we are totally online and video on demand, people all over the world can watch us when they want, or when they have the time.

Folks, we need to educate ourselves as to what is going on and what we can do about it.

Here are some of the topics the speakers are talking about…

Jamie Walden – Warrior Up And Get InThe Fight!

Zev Porat – The testimony of an orthodox rabbi coming to know Jesus / Yeshua

Gary Kah – The One World New Age Movement & God’s Not Finished with the Jewish People

Laura Maxwell – Globally Enforced Luciferian Oath Approaching: Quotes and Other Evidence

Go to the Last Days Warrior website and look at all the topics that are being taught on.

But me and Tracye are not stopping here. We are going to be producing more and more of these next year.
