Don’t Let The Unexpected Derail You From Your Day

This is day 2 of my 30 day challenge. I felt great this morning, got up at 7AM.

Then it happened. Oh Great…  another urine test.

Yes, that is right.

I have been a bad boy with all this divorce stuff going on and I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and I reacted instead of thinking things through.

Because of that I spent the night in county jail, and I am on 6 months on “Deferred Adjudication”

For those who do not know, a deferred adjudication is a form of plea deal / probation before judgment which is available in various jurisdictions, where a defendant pleads “guilty” or “no contest” to criminal charges in exchange for meeting certain requirements laid out by the court within an allotted period of time also ordered by the court. Upon completion of the requirements the defendant may avoid a formal conviction on their record or have their case dismissed.

I know this because every day I have to call in to see if I am going to be urine tested or not.

And yes… EVERY DAY till I am done with my probation.

I made the call in and I was chosen to go pee in the bottle. I try to do this in the morning time because that is when I have to go to the bathroom the most. I have figured out that Mr Winky does not like to go pee when there is an audience, and that is what I have when peeing in the bottle, a person observing me as I pee.

So, I jumped in the car and headed down. Got there, pissed in the bottle and then came back home.

When I got home, I started doing my Core 4, which if you do this first thing in the morning, it REALLY charges up your day and you can take on the world. That is unless you have to pee in the bottle first.

Today I got back home and started my Core 4, accomplished it but I noticed that the power serge was lack luster and not at 100%.

I did all my Core 4 and even though I do feel good, I have learned that it is critical to do your Core 4 first thing in the morning if you wish to capitalize on the power and energy that you receive from hitting it up right as you wake up instead of waiting later in the day.

Lesson from today – Core 4 is critical if you want to achieve your goals, doing it first thing in the morning is vitally important if you want to tap into that power and energy to really push through to the day.

There is no slacking or delay when it comes to doing your Core 4, that is if you want to win for that day.

Now the nice thing is that this is my journal and I am gaining some great insight taking the time to really write this out and capture these feelings.

It is critical – Core 4 and Doing The Freaking Work.
